اَيَوَدُّ اَحَدُكُمۡ اَنۡ تَكُوۡنَ لَهٗ جَنَّةٌ مِّنۡ نَّخِيۡلٍ وَّاَعۡنَابٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُۙ لَهٗ فِيۡهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِۙ وَاَصَابَهُ الۡكِبَرُ وَلَهٗ ذُرِّيَّةٌ ضُعَفَآءُ ۖۚ فَاَصَابَهَاۤ اِعۡصَارٌ فِيۡهِ نَارٌ فَاحۡتَرَقَتۡؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمُ الۡاٰيٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ(البقرة :266)
Ayawaddu ahadukum an takoona lahu jannatun min nakheelin waa'nabin tajree min tahtiha alanharu lahu feeha min kulli alththamarati waasabahu alkibaru walahu thurriyyatun du'afao faasabaha i'sarun feehi narun faihtaraqat kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati la'allakum tatafakkaroona
Sahih International:
Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned. Thus does Allah make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُرۡسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ بُشۡرًۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖ ؕ حَتّٰۤى اِذَاۤ اَقَلَّتۡ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقۡنٰهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا بِهِ الۡمَآءَ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهٖ مِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِؕ كَذٰلِكَ نُخۡرِجُ الۡمَوۡتٰى لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ(الأعراف :57)
Wahuwa allathee yursilu alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi hatta itha aqallat sahaban thiqalan suqnahu libaladin mayyitin faanzalna bihi almaa faakhrajna bihi min kulli alththamarati kathalika nukhriju almawta la'allakum tathakkaroona
Sahih International:
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.
مَثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِرَبِّهِمۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ كَرَمَادِ ۨاشۡتَدَّتۡ بِهِ الرِّيۡحُ فِىۡ يَوۡمٍ عَاصِفٍؕ لَا يَقۡدِرُوۡنَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوۡا عَلٰى شَىۡءٍؕ ذٰ لِكَ هُوَ الضَّلٰلُ الۡبَعِيۡدُ(ابراهيم :18)
Mathalu allatheena kafaroo birabbihim a'maluhum karamadin ishtaddat bihi alrreehu fee yawmin 'asifin la yaqdiroona mimma kasaboo 'ala shayin thalika huwa alddalalu alba'eedu
Sahih International:
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.
وَاَرۡسَلۡنَا الرِّيٰحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَسۡقَيۡنٰكُمُوۡهُۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ لَهٗ بِخٰزِنِيۡنَ(الحجر :22)
Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssamai maan faasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena
Sahih International:
And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.
اَفَاَمِنۡتُمۡ اَنۡ يَّخۡسِفَ بِكُمۡ جَانِبَ الۡبَرِّ اَوۡ يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبًا ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُوۡالَـكُمۡ وَكِيۡلًا(الإسراء :68)
Afaamintum an yakhsifa bikum janiba albarri aw yursila 'alaykum hasiban thumma la tajidoo lakum wakeelan
Sahih International:
Then do you feel secure that [instead] He will not cause a part of the land to swallow you or send against you a storm of stones? Then you would not find for yourselves an advocate.
وَلِسُلَيۡمٰنَ الرِّيۡحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجۡرِىۡ بِاَمۡرِهٖۤ اِلَى الۡاَرۡضِ الَّتِىۡ بٰرَكۡنَا فِيۡهَاؕ وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عٰلِمِيۡنَ(الأنبياء :81)
Walisulaymana alrreeha 'asifatan tajree biamrihi ila alardi allatee barakna feeha wakunna bikulli shayin 'alimeena
Sahih International:
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command toward the land which We had blessed. And We are ever, of all things, Knowing.
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ الرِّيٰحَ بُشۡرًۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖۚ وَاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً طَهُوۡرًا(الفرقان :48)
Wahuwa allathee arsala alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi waanzalna mina alssamai maan tahooran
Sahih International:
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water
اَمَّنۡ يَّهۡدِيۡكُمۡ فِىۡ ظُلُمٰتِ الۡبَرِّ وَ الۡبَحۡرِ وَمَنۡ يُّرۡسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ بُشۡرًۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖؕ ءَاِلٰـهٌ مَّعَ اللّٰهِؕ تَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَؕ(النمل :63)
Amman yahdeekum fee thulumati albarri waalbahri waman yursilu alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi ailahun ma'a Allahi ta'ala Allahu 'amma yushrikoona
Sahih International:
Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah ? High is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
فَكُلًّا اَخَذۡنَا بِذَنۡۢبِهٖ ۚ فَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ حَاصِبًا ۚ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ اَخَذَتۡهُ الصَّيۡحَةُ ۚ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ خَسَفۡنَا بِهِ الۡاَرۡضَ ۚ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ اَغۡرَقۡنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَـظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ كَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ(العنكبوت :40)
Fakullan akhathna bithanbihi faminhum man arsalna 'alayhi hasiban waminhum man akhathathu alssayhatu waminhum man khasafna bihi alarda waminhum man aghraqna wama kana Allahu liyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona
Sahih International:
So each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allah would not have wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ يُّرۡسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرٰتٍ وَّلِيُذِيۡقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِهٖ وَلِتَجۡرِىَ الۡفُلۡكُ بِاَمۡرِهٖ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ(الروم :46)
Wamin ayatihi an yursila alrriyaha mubashshiratin waliyutheeqakum min rahmatihi walitajriya alfulku biamrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihi wala'allakum tashkuroona
Sahih International:
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
