كُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الۡقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرۡهٌ لَّـكُمۡۚ وَعَسٰۤى اَنۡ تَكۡرَهُوۡا شَيۡـــًٔا وَّهُوَ خَيۡرٌ لَّـکُمۡۚ وَعَسٰۤى اَنۡ تُحِبُّوۡا شَيۡـــًٔا وَّهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّـكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ(البقرة :216)
Kutiba 'alaykumu alqitalu wahuwa kurhun lakum wa'asa an takrahoo shayan wahuwa khayrun lakum wa'asa an tuhibboo shayan wahuwa sharrun lakum waAllahu ya'lamu waantum la ta'lamoona
Sahih International:
Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَالَّذِيۡنَ هَاجَرُوۡا وَجَاهَدُوۡا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِۙ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَرۡجُوۡنَ رَحۡمَتَ اللّٰهِؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ(البقرة :218)
Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheena hajaroo wajahadoo fee sabeeli Allahi olaika yarjoona rahmata Allahi waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
Sahih International:
Indeed, those who have believed and those who have emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah - those expect the mercy of Allah . And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
اَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تَدۡخُلُوا الۡجَـنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعۡلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيۡنَ جَاهَدُوۡا مِنۡكُمۡ وَيَعۡلَمَ الصّٰبِرِيۡنَ(آل عمران :142)
Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannata walamma ya'lami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum waya'lama alssabireena
Sahih International:
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?
لَا يَسۡتَوِى الۡقَاعِدُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ غَيۡرُ اُولِى الضَّرَرِ وَالۡمُجَاهِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَمۡوَالِهِمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ ؕ فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الۡمُجٰهِدِيۡنَ بِاَمۡوَالِهِمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ عَلَى الۡقٰعِدِيۡنَ دَرَجَةً ؕ وَكُلًّا وَّعَدَ اللّٰهُ الۡحُسۡنٰىؕ وَفَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الۡمُجٰهِدِيۡنَ عَلَى الۡقٰعِدِيۡنَ اَجۡرًا عَظِيۡمًا ۙ(النساء :95)
La yastawee alqa'idoona mina almumineena ghayru olee alddarari waalmujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi biamwalihim waanfusihim faddala Allahu almujahideena biamwalihim waanfusihim 'ala alqa'ideena darajatan wakullan wa'ada Allahu alhusna wafaddala Allahu almujahideena 'ala alqa'ideena ajran 'atheeman
Sahih International:
Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَابۡتَغُوۡۤا اِلَيۡهِ الۡوَسِيۡلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوۡا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِهٖ لَعَلَّـكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ(المائدة :35)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha waibtaghoo ilayhi alwaseelata wajahidoo fee sabeelihi la'allakum tuflihoona
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed.
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَنۡ يَّرۡتَدَّ مِنۡكُمۡ عَنۡ دِيۡـنِهٖ فَسَوۡفَ يَاۡتِى اللّٰهُ بِقَوۡمٍ يُّحِبُّهُمۡ وَيُحِبُّوۡنَهٗۤ ۙ اَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ اَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ يُجَاهِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَخَافُوۡنَ لَوۡمَةَ لَاۤٮِٕمٍ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ يُؤۡتِيۡهِ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ(المائدة :54)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo man yartadda minkum 'an deenihi fasawfa yatee Allahu biqawmin yuhibbuhum wayuhibboonahu athillatin 'ala almumineena a'izzatin 'ala alkafireena yujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi wala yakhafoona lawmata laimin thalika fadlu Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu wasi'un 'aleemun
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah ; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَهَاجَرُوۡا وَجَاهَدُوۡا بِاَمۡوَالِهِمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِهِمۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰوَوْا وَّنَصَرُوۡۤا اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَلَمۡ يُهَاجِرُوۡا مَا لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ وَّلَايَتِهِمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ حَتّٰى يُهَاجِرُوۡا ۚ وَاِنِ اسۡتَـنۡصَرُوۡكُمۡ فِى الدِّيۡنِ فَعَلَيۡكُمُ النَّصۡرُ اِلَّا عَلٰى قَوۡمٍۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ مِّيۡثَاقٌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرٌ(الأنفال :72)
Inna allatheena amanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo biamwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena awaw wanasaroo olaika ba'duhum awliyao ba'din waallatheena amanoo walam yuhajiroo ma lakum min walayatihim min shayin hatta yuhajiroo waini istansarookum fee alddeeni fa'alaykumu alnnasru illa 'ala qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun waAllahu bima ta'maloona baseerun
Sahih International:
Indeed, those who have believed and emigrated and fought with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - they are allies of one another. But those who believed and did not emigrate - for you there is no guardianship of them until they emigrate. And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَهَاجَرُوۡا وَجٰهَدُوۡا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰوَوْا وَّنَصَرُوۡۤا اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ حَقًّا ؕ لَّهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّرِزۡقٌ كَرِيۡمٌ(الأنفال :74)
Waallatheena amanoo wahajaroo wajahadoo fee sabeeli Allahi waallatheena awaw wanasaroo olaika humu almuminoona haqqan lahum maghfiratun warizqun kareemun
Sahih International:
But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided - it is they who are the believers, truly. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدُ وَهَاجَرُوۡا وَجَاهَدُوۡا مَعَكُمۡ فَاُولٰۤٮِٕكَ مِنۡكُمۡؕ وَاُولُوا الۡاَرۡحَامِ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اَوۡلٰى بِبَعۡضٍ فِىۡ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ(الأنفال :75)
Waallatheena amanoo min ba'du wahajaroo wajahadoo ma'akum faolaika minkum waoloo alarhami ba'duhum awla biba'din fee kitabi Allahi inna Allaha bikulli shayin 'aleemun
Sahih International:
And those who believed after [the initial emigration] and emigrated and fought with you - they are of you. But those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
اَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تُتۡرَكُوۡا وَلَـمَّا يَعۡلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيۡنَ جَاهَدُوۡا مِنۡكُمۡ وَلَمۡ يَتَّخِذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا رَسُوۡلِهٖ وَلَا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَلِيۡجَةً ؕ وَاللّٰهُ خَبِيۡرٌۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ(التوبة :16)
Am hasibtum an tutrakoo walamma ya'lami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum walam yattakhithoo min dooni Allahi wala rasoolihi wala almumineena waleejatan waAllahu khabeerun bima ta'maloona
Sahih International:
Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
