ٱلشَّمْسُ
The sun
وَٱلْقَمَرُ
and the moon
بِحُسْبَانٍ
by (precise) calculation
Ashshamsu walqamaru bihusbaan
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,
وَٱلنَّجْمُ
And the stars
وَٱلشَّجَرُ
and the trees
يَسْجُدَانِ
both prostrate
Wannajmu washshajaru yasjudan
And the stars and trees prostrate.
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
And the heaven
رَفَعَهَا
He raised it
وَوَضَعَ
and He has set up
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
the balance
Wassamaaa'a rafa'ahaa wa wada'al Meezan
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
أَلَّا
That not
تَطْغَوْا۟
you may transgress
فِى
in
ٱلْمِيزَانِ
the balance
Allaa tatghaw fil meezaan
That you not transgress within the balance.
وَأَقِيمُوا۟
And establish
ٱلْوَزْنَ
the weight
بِٱلْقِسْطِ
in justice
وَلَا
and (do) not
تُخْسِرُوا۟
make deficient
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
the balance
Wa aqeemul wazna bilqisti wa laa tukhsirul meezaan
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
And the earth
وَضَعَهَا
He laid it
لِلْأَنَامِ
for the creatures
Wal arda wada'ahaa lilanaame
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.
