ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
(to) the Most Gracious
عَبْدًا
(as) a slave

In kullu man fis samaawaati wal ardi illaaa aatir Rahmaani 'abdaa

There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.

will bestow
لَهُمُ
for them
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
the Most Gracious
وُدًّا

Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati sa yaj'alu lahumur Rahmaanu wuddaa

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.

Tafsir

فَإِنَّمَا
So only
يَسَّرْنَٰهُ
We (have) made it easy
بِلِسَانِكَ
in your tongue
لِتُبَشِّرَ
that you may give glad tidings

with it
قَوْمًا
a people
لُّدًّا
hostile

Fa innamaa yassarnaahu bilisaanika litubashshira bihil muttaqeena wa tunzira bihee qawmal luddaa

So, [O Muhammad], We have only made it [i.e., the Quran] easy in your tongue [i.e., the Arabic language] that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.
