اِذَا السَّمَاۤءُ انْفَطَرَتْۙ ( الإنفطار: ١ )
When the sky breaks apart
وَاِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْۙ ( الإنفطار: ٢ )
And when the stars fall, scattering,
وَاِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْۙ ( الإنفطار: ٣ )
And when the seas are erupted .
وَاِذَا الْقُبُوْرُ بُعْثِرَتْۙ ( الإنفطار: ٤ )
And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَاَخَّرَتْۗ ( الإنفطار: ٥ )
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيْمِۙ ( الإنفطار: ٦ )
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰىكَ فَعَدَلَكَۙ ( الإنفطار: ٧ )
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
فِيْٓ اَيِّ صُوْرَةٍ مَّا شَاۤءَ رَكَّبَكَۗ ( الإنفطار: ٨ )
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِالدِّيْنِۙ ( الإنفطار: ٩ )
No! But you deny the Recompense.
وَاِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحٰفِظِيْنَۙ ( الإنفطار: ١٠ )
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,
