وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰىۙ ( الليل: ١ )
By the night when it covers
وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا تَجَلّٰىۙ ( الليل: ٢ )
And [by] the day when it appears .
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُنْثٰىٓ ۙ ( الليل: ٣ )
And [by] He who created the male and female,
اِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتّٰىۗ ( الليل: ٤ )
Indeed, your efforts are diverse.
فَاَمَّا مَنْ اَعْطٰى وَاتَّقٰىۙ ( الليل: ٥ )
As for he who gives and fears Allah .
وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنٰىۙ ( الليل: ٦ )
And believes in the best [reward],
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهٗ لِلْيُسْرٰىۗ ( الليل: ٧ )
We will ease him toward ease.
وَاَمَّا مَنْۢ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنٰىۙ ( الليل: ٨ )
But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need
وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنٰىۙ ( الليل: ٩ )
And denies the best [reward],
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهٗ لِلْعُسْرٰىۗ ( الليل: ١٠ )
We will ease him toward difficulty.
