ٱلْحَمْدُ
All praises
لِلَّهِ
(be) to Allah,
فَاطِرِ
Originator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth,
جَاعِلِ
(Who) makes
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
the Angels
رُسُلًا
messengers
أُو۟لِىٓ
having wings
أَجْنِحَةٍ
having wings
مَّثْنَىٰ
two
وَثُلَٰثَ
or three
وَرُبَٰعَۚ
or four.
يَزِيدُ
He increases
فِى
in
ٱلْخَلْقِ
the creation
مَا
what
يَشَآءُۚ
He wills.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
(is) on
كُلِّ
every
شَىْءٍ
thing
قَدِيرٌ
All-Powerful.

Alhamdu lillaahi faatiris samaawaati wal ardi jaa'ilil malaaa'ikati rusulan uleee ajnihatim masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa'; yazeedu fil khalqi maa yashaaa'; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Tafsir

مَّا
What
يَفْتَحِ
Allah grants
ٱللَّهُ
Allah grants
لِلنَّاسِ
to mankind
مِن
of
رَّحْمَةٍ
Mercy,
فَلَا
then none
مُمْسِكَ
(can) withhold
لَهَاۖ
it.
وَمَا
And what
يُمْسِكْ
He withholds,
فَلَا
then none
مُرْسِلَ
(can) release
لَهُۥ
it
مِنۢ
of.
بَعْدِهِۦۚ
thereafter.
وَهُوَ
And He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
(is) the All-Mighty,
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise.

Maa yaftahil laahu linnaaasi mir rahmatin falaa mumsika lahaa wa maa yumsik falaa mursila lahoo mimb'dih; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Tafsir

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
ٱذْكُرُوا۟
Remember
نِعْمَتَ
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
عَلَيْكُمْۚ
upon you.
هَلْ
Is
مِنْ
(there) any
خَٰلِقٍ
creator
غَيْرُ
other (than) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
يَرْزُقُكُم
who provides for you
مِّنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ
and the earth?
لَآ
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
but
هُوَۖ
He.
فَأَنَّىٰ
Then, how
تُؤْفَكُونَ
(are) you deluded?

Yaaa ayyuhan naasuzkuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum; hal min khaaliqin ghairul laahi yarzuqukum minas samaaa'i wal ard; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fa annaa tu'fakoon

O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?

Tafsir

وَإِن
And if
يُكَذِّبُوكَ
they deny you,
فَقَدْ
then certainly
كُذِّبَتْ
were denied
رُسُلٌ
Messengers
مِّن
before you.
قَبْلِكَۚ
before you.
وَإِلَى
And to
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
تُرْجَعُ
return
ٱلْأُمُورُ
the matters.

Wa iny yukazzibooka faqad kuzzibat Rusulum min qablik; wa ilal laahi turja'ul umoor

And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.

Tafsir

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
إِنَّ
Indeed,
وَعْدَ
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
حَقٌّۖ
(is) true.
فَلَا
So (let) not
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
deceive you
ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
(of) the world,
وَلَا
and (let) not
يَغُرَّنَّكُم
deceive you
بِٱللَّهِ
about Allah
ٱلْغَرُورُ
the Deceiver.

Yaaa ayyuhan naasu inna wa'dal laahi haqqun falaa taghurrannakumul hayaatud dunyaa; wa laa yaghurran nakum billaahil gharoor

O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.

Tafsir

إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ
the Shaitaan
لَكُمْ
(is) to you
عَدُوٌّ
an enemy,
فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ
so take him
عَدُوًّاۚ
(as) an enemy.
إِنَّمَا
Only
يَدْعُوا۟
he invites
حِزْبَهُۥ
his party
لِيَكُونُوا۟
that they may be
مِنْ
among
أَصْحَٰبِ
(the) companions
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
(of) the Blaze.

Innash shaitaana lakum 'aduwwun fattakhizoohu 'aduwwaa; innamaa yad'oo hizbahoo liyakoonoo min ashaabis sa'eer

Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.

Tafsir

ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve,
لَهُمْ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(will be) a punishment
شَدِيدٌۖ
severe,
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those
ءَامَنُوا۟
who believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds,
لَهُم
for them
مَّغْفِرَةٌ
(will be) forgiveness
وَأَجْرٌ
and a reward
كَبِيرٌ
great.

Allazeena kafaroo lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer

Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.

Tafsir

أَفَمَن
Then is (he) who -
زُيِّنَ
is made fair-seeming
لَهُۥ
to him
سُوٓءُ
(the) evil
عَمَلِهِۦ
(of) his deed -
فَرَءَاهُ
so that he sees it
حَسَنًاۖ
(as) good?
فَإِنَّ
For indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُضِلُّ
lets go astray
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
وَيَهْدِى
and guides
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُۖ
He wills.
فَلَا
So (let) not
تَذْهَبْ
go out
نَفْسُكَ
your soul
عَلَيْهِمْ
for them
حَسَرَٰتٍۚ
(in) regrets.
إِنَّ
Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلِيمٌۢ
(is) All-Knower
بِمَا
of what
يَصْنَعُونَ
they do.

Afaman zuyyina lahoo sooo'u 'amalihee fara aahu hasanaa; fa innal laaha yudillu mai yashaaa'u wa yahdee mai yahaaa'u falaa tazhab nafsuka 'alaihim hasaraat; innal laaha 'aleemun bimaa yasna'oon

Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.

Tafsir

وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
ٱلَّذِىٓ
(is) the One Who
أَرْسَلَ
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
the winds
فَتُثِيرُ
so that they raise
سَحَابًا
(the) clouds,
فَسُقْنَٰهُ
and We drive them
إِلَىٰ
to
بَلَدٍ
a land
مَّيِّتٍ
dead
فَأَحْيَيْنَا
and We revive
بِهِ
therewith
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the earth
بَعْدَ
after
مَوْتِهَاۚ
its death.
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
ٱلنُّشُورُ
(will be) the Resurrection.

Wallaahul lazeee arsalar riyaaha fatuseeru shaaban fasuqnaahu ilaa baladim maiyitin fa ahyaynaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa; kazaalikan nushoor

And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.

Tafsir

مَن
Whoever
كَانَ
[is] desires
يُرِيدُ
[is] desires
ٱلْعِزَّةَ
the honor,
فَلِلَّهِ
then for Allah
ٱلْعِزَّةُ
(is) the Honor
جَمِيعًاۚ
all.
إِلَيْهِ
To Him
يَصْعَدُ
ascends
ٱلْكَلِمُ
the words
ٱلطَّيِّبُ
good,
وَٱلْعَمَلُ
and the deed
ٱلصَّٰلِحُ
righteous
يَرْفَعُهُۥۚ
raises it.
وَٱلَّذِينَ
But those who
يَمْكُرُونَ
plot
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
the evil,
لَهُمْ
for them
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
شَدِيدٌۖ
severe,
وَمَكْرُ
and (the) plotting
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
(of) those -
هُوَ
it
يَبُورُ
(will) perish.

Man kaana yureedul 'izzata falillaahil 'izzatu jamee'aa; ilaihi yas'adul kalimut taiyibu wal'amalus saalihu yarfa'uh; wallazeena yamkuroonas sayyiaati lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wa makru ulaaa'ika huwa yaboor

Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
