وَاِنَّ مِنۡهُمۡ لَـفَرِيۡقًا يَّلۡوٗنَ اَلۡسِنَتَهُمۡ بِالۡكِتٰبِ لِتَحۡسَبُوۡهُ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِۚ وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ هُوَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِۚ وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ وَ هُمۡ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :78)
Wainna minhum lafareeqan yalwoona alsinatahum bialkitabi litahsaboohu mina alkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabi wayaqooloona huwa min 'indi Allahi wama huwa min 'indi Allahi wayaqooloona 'ala Allahi alkathiba wahum ya'lamoona
Sahih International:
And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allah," but it is not from Allah . And they speak untruth about Allah while they know.
فَمَنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰ لِكَ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :94)
Famani iftara 'ala Allahi alkathiba min ba'di thalika faolaika humu althalimoona
Sahih International:
And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that - then those are [truly] the wrongdoers.
قَدۡ خَسِرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَتَلُوۡۤا اَوۡلَادَهُمۡ سَفَهًۢا بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍ وَّحَرَّمُوۡا مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللّٰهُ افۡتِرَآءً عَلَى اللّٰهِؕ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا وَمَا كَانُوۡا مُهۡتَدِيۡنَ(الأنعام :140)
Qad khasira allatheena qataloo awladahum safahan bighayri 'ilmin waharramoo ma razaqahumu Allahu iftiraan 'ala Allahi qad dalloo wama kanoo muhtadeena
Sahih International:
Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah . They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.
وَمِنَ الۡاِبِلِ اثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ الۡبَقَرِ اثۡنَيۡنِ ؕ قُلۡ ءٰٓالذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ اَمِ الۡاُنۡثَيَيۡنِ اَمَّا اشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ اَرۡحَامُ الۡاُنۡثَيَيۡنِ ؕ اَمۡ كُنۡتُمۡ شُهَدَآءَ اِذۡ وَصّٰٮكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا ۚ فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا لِّيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ(الأنعام :144)
Wamina alibili ithnayni wamina albaqari ithnayni qul alththakarayni harrama ami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat 'alayhi arhamu alonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumu Allahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban liyudilla alnnasa bighayri 'ilmin inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
Sahih International:
And of the camels, two and of the cattle, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah charged you with this? Then who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah to mislead the people by [something] other than knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people."
وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِهٖؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُفۡلِحُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ(الأنعام :21)
Waman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba biayatihi innahu la yuflihu alththalimoona
Sahih International:
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.
وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ قَالَ اُوۡحِىَ اِلَىَّ وَلَمۡ يُوۡحَ اِلَيۡهِ شَىۡءٌ وَّمَنۡ قَالَ سَاُنۡزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُؕ وَلَوۡ تَرٰٓى اِذِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ فِىۡ غَمَرٰتِ الۡمَوۡتِ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ بَاسِطُوۡۤا اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡۚ اَخۡرِجُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمُؕ اَلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ الۡهُوۡنِ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ غَيۡرَ الۡحَـقِّ وَكُنۡتُمۡ عَنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَ (الأنعام :93)
Waman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiya ilayya walam yooha ilayhi shayon waman qala saonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw tara ithi alththalimoona fee ghamarati almawti waalmalaikatu basitoo aydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna 'athaba alhooni bima kuntum taqooloona 'ala Allahi ghayra alhaqqi wakuntum 'an ayatihi tastakbiroona
Sahih International:
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."
فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِهٖ ؕ اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ يَنَالُهُمۡ نَصِيۡبُهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡـكِتٰبِؕ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُـنَا يَتَوَفَّوۡنَهُمۡ ۙ قَالُوۡۤا اَيۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ ؕ قَالُوۡا ضَلُّوۡا عَنَّا وَشَهِدُوۡا عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ اَنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا كٰفِرِيۡنَ(الأعراف :37)
Faman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba biayatihi olaika yanaluhum naseebuhum mina alkitabi hatta itha jaathum rusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna ma kuntum tad'oona min dooni Allahi qaloo dalloo 'anna washahidoo 'ala anfusihim annahum kanoo kafireena
Sahih International:
And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Those will attain their portion of the decree until when Our messengers come to them to take them in death, they will say, "Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah ?" They will say, "They have departed from us," and will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.
قَدِ افۡتَرَيۡنَا عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اِنۡ عُدۡنَا فِىۡ مِلَّتِكُمۡ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ نَجّٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ مِنۡهَا ؕ وَمَا يَكُوۡنُ لَـنَاۤ اَنۡ نَّعُوۡدَ فِيۡهَاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَا ؕ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ عِلۡمًاؕ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَا ؕ رَبَّنَا افۡتَحۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِالۡحَـقِّ وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡفٰتِحِيۡنَ(الأعراف :89)
Qadi iftarayna 'ala Allahi kathiban in 'udna fee millatikum ba'da ith najjana Allahu minha wama yakoonu lana an na'ooda feeha illa an yashaa Allahu rabbuna wasi'a rabbuna kulla shayin 'ilman 'ala Allahi tawakkalna rabbana iftah baynana wabayna qawmina bialhaqqi waanta khayru alfatiheena
Sahih International:
We would have invented against Allah a lie if we returned to your religion after Allah had saved us from it. And it is not for us to return to it except that Allah, our Lord, should will. Our Lord has encompassed all things in knowledge. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision."
فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُفۡلِحُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ(يونس :17)
Faman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba biayatihi innahu la yuflihu almujrimoona
Sahih International:
So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed
قُلۡ اَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ رِّزۡقٍ فَجَعَلۡتُمۡ مِّنۡهُ حَرَامًا وَّحَلٰلًا ؕ قُلۡ آٰللّٰهُ اَذِنَ لَـكُمۡ اَمۡ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ(يونس :59)
Qul araaytum ma anzala Allahu lakum min rizqin faja'altum minhu haraman wahalalan qul allahu athina lakum am 'ala Allahi taftaroona
Sahih International:
Say, "Have you seen what Allah has sent down to you of provision of which you have made [some] lawful and [some] unlawful?" Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do so], or do you invent [something] about Allah ?"
