وَلَا تُطِيْعُوْٓا اَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِيْنَ ۙ ( الشعراء: ١٥١ )
walā
وَلَا
And (do) not
Et n’
tuṭīʿū
تُطِيعُوٓا۟
obey
obéissez (pas)
amra
أَمْرَ
(the) command
(à l’)ordre
l-mus'rifīna
ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
(of) the transgressors
(des) gens excessifs,
N'obéissez pas à l'ordre des outranciers,
الَّذِيْنَ يُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُوْنَ ( الشعراء: ١٥٢ )
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
ceux qui
yuf'sidūna
يُفْسِدُونَ
spread corruption
sèment la corruption
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
la terre
walā
وَلَا
and (do) not
et n’
yuṣ'liḥūna
يُصْلِحُونَ
reform"
améliorent (pas). »
qui sèment le désordre sur la terre et n'améliorent rien».
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّمَآ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِيْنَ ۙ ( الشعراء: ١٥٣ )

قَالُوٓا۟
They said
Ils ont dit :
innamā
إِنَّمَآ
"Only
« Seulement
l-musaḥarīna
ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ
those bewitched
les ensorcelés.
Ils dirent: «Tu n'es qu'un ensorcelé.
مَآ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ فَأْتِ بِاٰيَةٍ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ( الشعراء: ١٥٤ )

إِلَّا
(are) except
sauf
basharun
بَشَرٌ
a man
un humain
mith'lunā
مِّثْلُنَا
like us
comme nous,
fati
فَأْتِ
so bring
amène donc
biāyatin
بِـَٔايَةٍ
a sign
[] un signe
l-ṣādiqīna
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
the truthful"
les véridiques. »
Tu n'es qu'un homme comme nous. Apporte donc un prodige, si tu es du nombre des véridiques».
قَالَ هٰذِهٖ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَّلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ ۚ ( الشعراء: ١٥٥ )

He said
Il a dit :

هَٰذِهِۦ
"This
Ceci (est)
nāqatun
نَاقَةٌ
(is) a she-camel
une chamelle,
lahā
لَّهَا
For her
(pour qui il y a) pour elle
shir'bun
شِرْبٌ
(is a share of) drink
une boisson
walakum
وَلَكُمْ
and for you
et (il y a) pour vous
shir'bu
شِرْبُ
(is a share of) drink
(la) boisson
yawmin
يَوْمٍ
(on) a day
(d’)un jour
maʿlūmin
مَّعْلُومٍ
known
connu.
Il dit: «Voici une chamelle: à elle de boire un jour convenu, et à vous de boire un jour.
وَلَا تَمَسُّوْهَا بِسُوْۤءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ( الشعراء: ١٥٦ )
walā
وَلَا
And (do) not
Et ne
tamassūhā
تَمَسُّوهَا
touch her
la touchez (pas)
bisūin
بِسُوٓءٍ
with harm
d’un mal,
fayakhudhakum
فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ
lest seize you
car vous saisira alors
ʿadhābu
عَذَابُ
(the) punishment
(le) châtiment
yawmin
يَوْمٍ
(of) a Day
(d’)un jour
ʿaẓīmin
عَظِيمٍ
Great"
immense ! »
Et ne lui infligez aucun mal, sinon le châtiment d'un jour terrible vous saisira».
فَعَقَرُوْهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا نٰدِمِيْنَ ۙ ( الشعراء: ١٥٧ )
faʿaqarūhā
فَعَقَرُوهَا
But they hamstrung her
Et ils ont ensuite coupé ses jambes
fa-aṣbaḥū
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
then they became
et sont ensuite devenus
nādimīna
نَٰدِمِينَ
regretful
des regretteurs.
Mais ils la tuèrent. Eh bien, ils eurent à regretter!
فَاَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ( الشعراء: ١٥٨ )
fa-akhadhahumu
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
So seized them
Les a donc saisis
l-ʿadhābu
ٱلْعَذَابُۗ
the punishment
le châtiment.
laāyatan
لَءَايَةًۖ
surely is a sign
certainement un signe.
aktharuhum
أَكْثَرُهُم
most of them
(la) plupart (d’)eux
mu'minīna
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
believers
croyants.
Le châtiment, en effet, les saisit. Voilà bien là un prodige. Cependant, la plupart d'entre eux ne croient pas.
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ࣖ ( الشعراء: ١٥٩ )
wa-inna
وَإِنَّ
And indeed
Et certes,
rabbaka
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
ton Maître (est)
lahuwa
لَهُوَ
surely He
certainement Lui
l-ʿazīzu
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
(is) the All-Mighty
Le Parfaitement Fort,
l-raḥīmu
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
the Most Merciful
Le Très Miséricordieux.
Et ton Seigneur, c'est en vérité Lui le Tout Puissant, le Très Miséricordieux.
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوْطِ ِۨالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ( الشعراء: ١٦٠ )
