وَجَآءُوۡ عَلٰى قَمِيـۡصِهٖ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍؕ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَـكُمۡ اَنۡفُسُكُمۡ اَمۡرًاؕ فَصَبۡرٌ جَمِيۡلٌؕ وَاللّٰهُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰى مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ(يوسف :18)
Wajaoo 'ala qameesihi bidamin kathibin qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukum amran fasabrun jameelun waAllahu almusta'anu 'ala ma tasifoona
Sahih International:
And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe."
وَاسۡتَبَقَا الۡبَابَ وَقَدَّتۡ قَمِيۡصَهٗ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ وَّاَلۡفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَا الۡبَابِؕ قَالَتۡ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنۡ اَرَادَ بِاَهۡلِكَ سُوۡۤءًا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يُّسۡجَنَ اَوۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ(يوسف :25)
Waistabaqa albaba waqaddat qameesahu min duburin waalfaya sayyidaha lada albabi qalat ma jazao man arada biahlika sooan illa an yusjana aw 'athabun aleemun
Sahih International:
And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"
قَالَ هِىَ رَاوَدَتۡنِىۡ عَنۡ نَّـفۡسِىۡ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِهَاۚ اِنۡ كَانَ قَمِيۡصُهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ الۡكٰذِبِيۡنَ(يوسف :26)
Qala hiya rawadatnee 'an nafsee washahida shahidun min ahliha in kana qameesuhu qudda min qubulin fasadaqat wahuwa mina alkathibeena
Sahih International:
[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.
وَاِنۡ كَانَ قَمِيۡصُهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ فَكَذَبَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ(يوسف :27)
Wain kana qameesuhu qudda min duburin fakathabat wahuwa mina alssadiqeena
Sahih International:
But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful."
فَلَمَّا رَاٰ قَمِيۡصَهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ كَيۡدِكُنَّؕ اِنَّ كَيۡدَكُنَّ عَظِيۡمٌ(يوسف :28)
Falamma raa qameesahu qudda min duburin qala innahu min kaydikunna inna kaydakunna 'atheemun
Sahih International:
So when her husband saw his shirt torn from the back, he said, "Indeed, it is of the women's plan. Indeed, your plan is great.
اِذۡهَبُوۡا بِقَمِيۡصِىۡ هٰذَا فَاَلۡقُوۡهُ عَلٰى وَجۡهِ اَبِىۡ يَاۡتِ بَصِيۡرًاۚ وَاۡتُوۡنِىۡ بِاَهۡلِكُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ(يوسف :93)
Ithhaboo biqameesee hatha faalqoohu 'ala wajhi abee yati baseeran watoonee biahlikum ajma'eena
Sahih International:
Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together."
وَتَرَى الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ مُّقَرَّنِيۡنَ فِى الۡاَصۡفَادِۚ(ابراهيم :49)
Watara almujrimeena yawmaithin muqarraneena fee alasfadi
Sahih International:
And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles,
سَرَابِيۡلُهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَطِرَانٍ وَّتَغۡشٰى وُجُوۡهَهُمُ النَّارُۙ(ابراهيم :50)
Sarabeeluhum min qatranin wataghsha wujoohahumu alnnaru
Sahih International:
Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire.
وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلٰلًا وَّجَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّنَ الۡجِبَالِ اَكۡنَانًا وَّجَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ سَرَابِيۡلَ تَقِيۡكُمُ الۡحَـرَّ وَسَرَابِيۡلَ تَقِيۡكُمۡ بَاۡسَكُمۡؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهٗ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُوۡنَ(النحل :81)
WaAllahu ja'ala lakum mimma khalaqa thilalan waja'ala lakum mina aljibali aknanan waja'ala lakum sarabeela taqeekumu alharra wasarabeela taqeekum basakum kathalika yutimmu ni'matahu 'alaykum la'allakum tuslimoona
Sahih International:
And Allah has made for you, from that which He has created, shadows and has made for you from the mountains, shelters and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your [enemy in] battle. Thus does He complete His favor upon you that you might submit [to Him].
وَاَدۡخِلۡ يَدَكَ فِىۡ جَيۡبِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَيۡضَآءَ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ سُوۡٓءٍ فِىۡ تِسۡعِ اٰيٰتٍ اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَقَوۡمِهٖؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا فٰسِقِيۡنَ(النمل :12)
Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaa min ghayri sooin fee tis'i ayatin ila fir'awna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
Sahih International:
And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."
