Surah [12] Yusuf : 18

وَجَآءُوۡ عَلٰى قَمِيـۡصِهٖ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ‌ؕ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَـكُمۡ اَنۡفُسُكُمۡ اَمۡرًا‌ؕ فَصَبۡرٌ جَمِيۡلٌ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ الۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلٰى مَا تَصِفُوۡنَ(يوسف :18)

وَجَآءُو
And they brought
عَلَىٰ
upon
قَمِيصِهِۦ
his shirt
بِدَمٍ
with false blood
كَذِبٍۚ
with false blood
قَالَ
He said
بَلْ
"Nay
سَوَّلَتْ
has enticed you
لَكُمْ
has enticed you
أَنفُسُكُمْ
your souls
أَمْرًاۖ
(to) a matter
فَصَبْرٌ
so patience
جَمِيلٌۖ
(is) beautiful
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ
(is) the One sought for help
عَلَىٰ
against
مَا
what
تَصِفُونَ
you describe"

Wajaoo 'ala qameesihi bidamin kathibin qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukum amran fasabrun jameelun waAllahu almusta'anu 'ala ma tasifoona

Sahih International:

And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe."

Surah [12] Yusuf : 25

وَاسۡتَبَقَا الۡبَابَ وَقَدَّتۡ قَمِيۡصَهٗ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ وَّاَلۡفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَا الۡبَابِ‌ؕ قَالَتۡ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنۡ اَرَادَ بِاَهۡلِكَ سُوۡۤءًا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يُّسۡجَنَ اَوۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ(يوسف :25)

وَٱسْتَبَقَا
And they both raced
ٱلْبَابَ
(to) the door
وَقَدَّتْ
and she tore
قَمِيصَهُۥ
his shirt
مِن
from
دُبُرٍ
the back
وَأَلْفَيَا
and they both found
سَيِّدَهَا
her husband
لَدَا
at
ٱلْبَابِۚ
the door
قَالَتْ
She said
مَا
"What
جَزَآءُ
(is) the recompense
مَنْ
(of one) who
أَرَادَ
intended
بِأَهْلِكَ
for your wife
سُوٓءًا
evil
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
يُسْجَنَ
he be imprisoned
أَوْ
or
عَذَابٌ
a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
painful?"

Waistabaqa albaba waqaddat qameesahu min duburin waalfaya sayyidaha lada albabi qalat ma jazao man arada biahlika sooan illa an yusjana aw 'athabun aleemun

Sahih International:

And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"

Surah [12] Yusuf : 26

قَالَ هِىَ رَاوَدَتۡنِىۡ عَنۡ نَّـفۡسِىۡ‌ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِهَا‌ۚ اِنۡ كَانَ قَمِيۡصُهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ الۡكٰذِبِيۡنَ(يوسف :26)

قَالَ
He said
هِىَ
"She
رَٰوَدَتْنِى
sought to seduce me
عَن
about
نَّفْسِىۚ
myself"
وَشَهِدَ
And testified
شَاهِدٌ
a witness
مِّنْ
of
أَهْلِهَآ
her family
إِن
"If
كَانَ
[is]
قَمِيصُهُۥ
his shirt
قُدَّ
(is) torn
مِن
from
قُبُلٍ
the front
فَصَدَقَتْ
then she has spoken the truth
وَهُوَ
and he
مِنَ
(is) of
ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
the liars

Qala hiya rawadatnee 'an nafsee washahida shahidun min ahliha in kana qameesuhu qudda min qubulin fasadaqat wahuwa mina alkathibeena

Sahih International:

[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.

Surah [12] Yusuf : 27

وَاِنۡ كَانَ قَمِيۡصُهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ فَكَذَبَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ‏(يوسف :27)

وَإِن
But if
كَانَ
[is]
قَمِيصُهُۥ
his shirt
قُدَّ
(is) torn
مِن
from
دُبُرٍ
(the) back
فَكَذَبَتْ
then she has lied
وَهُوَ
and he
مِنَ
(is) of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
the truthful"

Wain kana qameesuhu qudda min duburin fakathabat wahuwa mina alssadiqeena

Sahih International:

But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful."

Surah [12] Yusuf : 28

فَلَمَّا رَاٰ قَمِيۡصَهٗ قُدَّ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ كَيۡدِكُنَّ‌ؕ اِنَّ كَيۡدَكُنَّ عَظِيۡمٌ(يوسف :28)

فَلَمَّا
So when
رَءَا
he saw
قَمِيصَهُۥ
his shirt
قُدَّ
torn
مِن
from
دُبُرٍ
(the) back
قَالَ
he said
إِنَّهُۥ
"Indeed it
مِن
(is) of
كَيْدِكُنَّۖ
your plot
إِنَّ
Indeed
كَيْدَكُنَّ
your plot
عَظِيمٌ
(is) great

Falamma raa qameesahu qudda min duburin qala innahu min kaydikunna inna kaydakunna 'atheemun

Sahih International:

So when her husband saw his shirt torn from the back, he said, "Indeed, it is of the women's plan. Indeed, your plan is great.

Surah [12] Yusuf : 93

اِذۡهَبُوۡا بِقَمِيۡصِىۡ هٰذَا فَاَلۡقُوۡهُ عَلٰى وَجۡهِ اَبِىۡ يَاۡتِ بَصِيۡرًا‌ۚ وَاۡتُوۡنِىۡ بِاَهۡلِكُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ(يوسف :93)

ٱذْهَبُوا۟
Go
بِقَمِيصِى
with this shirt of mine
هَٰذَا
with this shirt of mine
فَأَلْقُوهُ
and cast it
عَلَىٰ
over
وَجْهِ
(the) face
أَبِى
(of) my father
يَأْتِ
he will regain sight
بَصِيرًا
he will regain sight
وَأْتُونِى
And bring to me
بِأَهْلِكُمْ
your family
أَجْمَعِينَ
all together"

Ithhaboo biqameesee hatha faalqoohu 'ala wajhi abee yati baseeran watoonee biahlikum ajma'eena

Sahih International:

Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together."

Surah [14] Ibrahim : 49

وَتَرَى الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ مُّقَرَّنِيۡنَ فِى الۡاَصۡفَادِ‌ۚ‏(ابراهيم :49)

وَتَرَى
And you will see
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
the criminals
يَوْمَئِذٍ
(on) that Day
مُّقَرَّنِينَ
bound together
فِى
in
ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
the chains

Watara almujrimeena yawmaithin muqarraneena fee alasfadi

Sahih International:

And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles,

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [14] Ibrahim : 50

سَرَابِيۡلُهُمۡ مِّنۡ قَطِرَانٍ وَّتَغۡشٰى وُجُوۡهَهُمُ النَّارُۙ‏(ابراهيم :50)

سَرَابِيلُهُم
Their garments
مِّن
of
قَطِرَانٍ
tar
وَتَغْشَىٰ
and will cover
وُجُوهَهُمُ
their faces
ٱلنَّارُ
the Fire

Sarabeeluhum min qatranin wataghsha wujoohahumu alnnaru

Sahih International:

Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire.

Surah [16] An-Nahl : 81

وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلٰلًا وَّجَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّنَ الۡجِبَالِ اَكۡنَانًا وَّجَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ سَرَابِيۡلَ تَقِيۡكُمُ الۡحَـرَّ وَسَرَابِيۡلَ تَقِيۡكُمۡ بَاۡسَكُمۡ‌ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهٗ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُوۡنَ(النحل :81)

وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
جَعَلَ
(has) made
لَكُم
for you
مِّمَّا
from what
خَلَقَ
He created
ظِلَٰلًا
shades
وَجَعَلَ
and (has) made
لَكُم
for you
مِّنَ
from
ٱلْجِبَالِ
the mountains
أَكْنَٰنًا
shelters
وَجَعَلَ
and (has) made
لَكُمْ
for you
سَرَٰبِيلَ
garments
تَقِيكُمُ
to protect you
ٱلْحَرَّ
(from) the heat
وَسَرَٰبِيلَ
and garments
تَقِيكُم
to protect you
بَأْسَكُمْۚ
from your (mutual) violence
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يُتِمُّ
He completes
نِعْمَتَهُۥ
His Favor
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
تُسْلِمُونَ
submit

WaAllahu ja'ala lakum mimma khalaqa thilalan waja'ala lakum mina aljibali aknanan waja'ala lakum sarabeela taqeekumu alharra wasarabeela taqeekum basakum kathalika yutimmu ni'matahu 'alaykum la'allakum tuslimoona

Sahih International:

And Allah has made for you, from that which He has created, shadows and has made for you from the mountains, shelters and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your [enemy in] battle. Thus does He complete His favor upon you that you might submit [to Him].

Surah [27] An-Naml : 12

وَاَدۡخِلۡ يَدَكَ فِىۡ جَيۡبِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَيۡضَآءَ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ سُوۡٓءٍ‌ فِىۡ تِسۡعِ اٰيٰتٍ اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَقَوۡمِهٖؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا فٰسِقِيۡنَ‏(النمل :12)

وَأَدْخِلْ
And enter
يَدَكَ
your hand
فِى
into
جَيْبِكَ
your bosom
تَخْرُجْ
it will come forth
بَيْضَآءَ
white
مِنْ
without
غَيْرِ
without
سُوٓءٍۖ
harm
فِى
(These are) among
تِسْعِ
nine
ءَايَٰتٍ
signs
إِلَىٰ
to
فِرْعَوْنَ
Firaun
وَقَوْمِهِۦٓۚ
and his people
إِنَّهُمْ
Indeed, they
كَانُوا۟
are
قَوْمًا
a people
فَٰسِقِينَ
defiantly disobedient"

Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaa min ghayri sooin fee tis'i ayatin ila fir'awna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena

Sahih International:

And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."
