Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 112

بَلٰى مَنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهٗ لِلّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَلَهٗۤ اَجۡرُهٗ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهٖ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُوۡنَ(البقرة :112)

بَلَىٰ
Yes
مَنْ
whoever
أَسْلَمَ
submits
وَجْهَهُۥ
his face
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَهُوَ
and he
مُحْسِنٌ
(is) a good-doer
فَلَهُۥٓ
so for him
أَجْرُهُۥ
(is) his reward
عِندَ
with
رَبِّهِۦ
his Lord
وَلَا
And no
خَوْفٌ
fear
عَلَيْهِمْ
(will be) on them
وَلَا
and not
هُمْ
they
يَحْزَنُونَ
(will) grieve

Bala man aslama wajhahu lillahi wahuwa muhsinun falahu ajruhu 'inda rabbihi wala khawfun 'alayhim wala hum yahzanoona

Sahih International:

Yes [on the contrary], whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 195

وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا تُلۡقُوۡا بِاَيۡدِيۡكُمۡ اِلَى التَّهۡلُكَةِ ۖ  ۛۚ وَاَحۡسِنُوۡا  ۛۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ(البقرة :195)

وَأَنفِقُوا۟
And spend
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَلَا
and (do) not
تُلْقُوا۟
throw (yourselves)
بِأَيْدِيكُمْ
[with your hands]
إِلَى
into
ٱلتَّهْلُكَةِۛ
[the] destruction
وَأَحْسِنُوٓا۟ۛ
And do good;
إِنَّ
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

Waanfiqoo fee sabeeli Allahi wala tulqoo biaydeekum ila alttahlukati waahsinoo inna Allaha yuhibbu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 236

لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِنۡ طَلَّقۡتُمُ النِّسَآءَ مَا لَمۡ تَمَسُّوۡهُنَّ اَوۡ تَفۡرِضُوۡا لَهُنَّ فَرِيۡضَةً  ۖۚ وَّمَتِّعُوۡهُنَّ ‌ۚ عَلَى الۡمُوۡسِعِ قَدَرُهٗ وَ عَلَى الۡمُقۡتِرِ قَدَرُهٗ ‌ۚ مَتَاعًا ۢ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ‌‌ۚ حَقًّا عَلَى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ(البقرة :236)

لَّا
(There is) no
جُنَاحَ
blame
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
إِن
if
طَلَّقْتُمُ
you divorce
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
[the] women
مَا
whom
لَمْ
not
تَمَسُّوهُنَّ
you have touched
أَوْ
nor
تَفْرِضُوا۟
you specified
لَهُنَّ
for them
فَرِيضَةًۚ
an obligation (dower)
وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ
And make provision for them
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْمُوسِعِ
the wealthy
قَدَرُهُۥ
according to his means
وَعَلَى
and upon
ٱلْمُقْتِرِ
the poor
قَدَرُهُۥ
according to his means
مَتَٰعًۢا
a provision
بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِۖ
in a fair manner
حَقًّا
a duty
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

La junaha 'alaykum in tallaqtumu alnnisaa ma lam tamassoohunna aw tafridoo lahunna fareedatan wamatti'oohunna 'ala almoosi'i qadaruhu wa'ala almuqtiri qadaruhu mata'an bialma'roofi haqqan 'ala almuhsineena

Sahih International:

There is no blame upon you if you divorce women you have not touched nor specified for them an obligation. But give them [a gift of] compensation - the wealthy according to his capability and the poor according to his capability - a provision according to what is acceptable, a duty upon the doers of good.

Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 58

وَاِذۡ قُلۡنَا ادۡخُلُوۡا هٰذِهِ الۡقَرۡيَةَ فَکُلُوۡا مِنۡهَا حَيۡثُ شِئۡتُمۡ رَغَدًا وَّادۡخُلُوا الۡبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَّقُوۡلُوۡا حِطَّةٌ نَّغۡفِرۡ لَـكُمۡ خَطٰيٰكُمۡ‌ؕ وَسَنَزِيۡدُ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ (البقرة :58)

وَإِذْ
And when
قُلْنَا
We said
ٱدْخُلُوا۟
"Enter
هَٰذِهِ
this
ٱلْقَرْيَةَ
town
فَكُلُوا۟
then eat
مِنْهَا
from [it]
حَيْثُ
wherever
شِئْتُمْ
you wish[ed]
رَغَدًا
abundantly
وَٱدْخُلُوا۟
and enter
ٱلْبَابَ
the gate
سُجَّدًا
prostrating
وَقُولُوا۟
And say
حِطَّةٌ
"Repentance
نَّغْفِرْ
We will forgive
لَكُمْ
for you
خَطَٰيَٰكُمْۚ
your sins
وَسَنَزِيدُ
And We will increase
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers (in reward)"

Waith qulna odkhuloo hathihi alqaryata fakuloo minha haythu shitum raghadan waodkhuloo albaba sujjadan waqooloo hittatun naghfir lakum khatayakum wasanazeedu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

And [recall] when We said, "Enter this city and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens.' We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]."

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 134

الَّذِيۡنَ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ فِى السَّرَّآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ وَالۡكٰظِمِيۡنَ الۡغَيۡظَ وَالۡعَافِيۡنَ عَنِ النَّاسِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‌ۚ(آل عمران :134)

ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُنفِقُونَ
spend
فِى
in
ٱلسَّرَّآءِ
[the] ease
وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ
and (in) the hardship
وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ
and those who restrain
ٱلْغَيْظَ
the anger
وَٱلْعَافِينَ
and those who pardon
عَنِ
[from]
ٱلنَّاسِۗ
the people -
وَٱللَّهُ
and Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

Allatheena yunfiqoona fee alssarrai waalddarrai waalkathimeena alghaytha waal'afeena 'ani alnnasi waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 148

فَاٰتٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنۡيَا وَحُسۡنَ ثَوَابِ الۡاٰخِرَةِ‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ(آل عمران :148)

فَـَٔاتَىٰهُمُ
So gave them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ثَوَابَ
reward
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(in) the world
وَحُسْنَ
and good
ثَوَابِ
reward
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِۗ
(in) the Hereafter
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

Faatahumu Allahu thawaba alddunya wahusna thawabi alakhirati waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.

Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 125

وَمَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ دِيۡنًا مِّمَّنۡ اَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهٗ لِلّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ وَّاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ حَنِيۡفًا‌ ؕ وَاتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ خَلِيۡلًا(النساء :125)

وَمَنْ
And who
أَحْسَنُ
(is) better
دِينًا
(in) religion
مِّمَّنْ
than (one) who
أَسْلَمَ
submits
وَجْهَهُۥ
his face
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
وَهُوَ
and he
مُحْسِنٌ
(is) a good-doer
وَٱتَّبَعَ
and follows
مِلَّةَ
(the) religion
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفًاۗ
(the) upright?
وَٱتَّخَذَ
And was taken
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Ibrahim
خَلِيلًا
(as) a friend

Waman ahsanu deenan mimman aslama wajhahu lillahi wahuwa muhsinun waittaba'a millata ibraheema haneefan waittakhatha Allahu ibraheema khaleelan

Sahih International:

And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend.

Surah [5] Al-Ma'ida : 13

فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِمۡ مِّيۡثَاقَهُمۡ لَعَنّٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا قُلُوۡبَهُمۡ قٰسِيَةً‌ ۚ يُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡـكَلِمَ عَنۡ مَّوَاضِعِهٖ‌ۙ وَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰى خَآٮِٕنَةٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا مِّنۡهُمۡ‌ فَاعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَاصۡفَحۡ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ(المائدة :13)

فَبِمَا
So for
نَقْضِهِم
their breaking
مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ
(of) their covenant
لَعَنَّٰهُمْ
We cursed them
وَجَعَلْنَا
and We made
قُلُوبَهُمْ
their hearts
قَٰسِيَةًۖ
hard
يُحَرِّفُونَ
They distort
ٱلْكَلِمَ
the words
عَن
from
مَّوَاضِعِهِۦۙ
their places
وَنَسُوا۟
and forgot
حَظًّا
a part
مِّمَّا
of what
ذُكِّرُوا۟
they were reminded
بِهِۦۚ
of [it]
وَلَا
And not
تَزَالُ
will you cease
تَطَّلِعُ
to discover
عَلَىٰ
of
خَآئِنَةٍ
treachery
مِّنْهُمْ
from them
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلًا
a few
مِّنْهُمْۖ
of them
فَٱعْفُ
But forgive
عَنْهُمْ
them
وَٱصْفَحْۚ
and overlook
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

Fabima naqdihim meethaqahum la'annahum waja'alna quloobahum qasiyatan yuharrifoona alkalima 'an mawadi'ihi wanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroo bihi wala tazalu tattali'u 'ala khainatin minhum illa qaleelan minhum fao'fu 'anhum waisfah inna Allaha yuhibbu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [5] Al-Ma'ida : 85

فَاَثَابَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِمَا قَالُوۡا جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا‌ ؕ وَذٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏(المائدة :85)

فَأَثَٰبَهُمُ
So rewarded them
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِمَا
for what
قَالُوا۟
they said
جَنَّٰتٍ
(with) Gardens
تَجْرِى
flows
مِن
from
تَحْتِهَا
underneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
will abide forever
فِيهَاۚ
in it
وَذَٰلِكَ
And that
جَزَآءُ
(is the) reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
(of) the good-doers

Faathabahumu Allahu bima qaloo jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wathalika jazao almuhsineena

Sahih International:

So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

Surah [5] Al-Ma'ida : 93

لَـيۡسَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيۡمَا طَعِمُوۡۤا اِذَا مَا اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاَحۡسَنُوۡا‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ(المائدة :93)

لَيْسَ
Not
عَلَى
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
the good deeds
جُنَاحٌ
any sin
فِيمَا
for what
طَعِمُوٓا۟
they ate
إِذَا
when
مَا
that
ٱتَّقَوا۟
they fear (Allah)
وَّءَامَنُوا۟
and they believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and they do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
[the] good deeds
ثُمَّ
then
ٱتَّقَوا۟
they fear (Allah)
وَّءَامَنُوا۟
and believe
ثُمَّ
then
ٱتَّقَوا۟
they fear (Allah)
وَّأَحْسَنُوا۟ۗ
and do good
وَٱللَّهُ
and Allah
يُحِبُّ
loves
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers

Laysa 'ala allatheena amanoo wa'amiloo alssalihati junahun feema ta'imoo itha ma ittaqaw waamanoo wa'amiloo alssalihati thumma ittaqaw waamanoo thumma ittaqaw waahsanoo waAllahu yuhibbu almuhsineena

Sahih International:

There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness [any] blame concerning what they have eaten [in the past] if they [now] fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allah and believe, and then fear Allah and do good; and Allah loves the doers of good.
