الَّذِيْنَ يَرِثُوْنَ الْفِرْدَوْسَۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ( المؤمنون: ١١ )
yarithūna
يَرِثُونَ
will inherit
l-fir'dawsa
ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ
the Paradise
khālidūna
خَٰلِدُونَ
(will) abide forever
Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلٰلَةٍ مِّنْ طِيْنٍ ۚ ( المؤمنون: ١٢ )
walaqad
وَلَقَدْ
And indeed
khalaqnā
خَلَقْنَا
We created
l-insāna
ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
the humankind
sulālatin
سُلَٰلَةٍ
an essence
And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنٰهُ نُطْفَةً فِيْ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيْنٍ ۖ ( المؤمنون: ١٣ )
jaʿalnāhu
جَعَلْنَٰهُ
We placed him
nuṭ'fatan
نُطْفَةً
(as) a semen-drop
qarārin
قَرَارٍ
a resting place
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging [i.e., the womb].
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظٰمًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظٰمَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ اَنْشَأْنٰهُ خَلْقًا اٰخَرَۗ فَتَبَارَكَ اللّٰهُ اَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِيْنَۗ ( المؤمنون: ١٤ )
khalaqnā
خَلَقْنَا
We created
l-nuṭ'fata
ٱلنُّطْفَةَ
the semen-drop
ʿalaqatan
عَلَقَةً
(into) a clinging substance
fakhalaqnā
فَخَلَقْنَا
then We created
l-ʿalaqata
ٱلْعَلَقَةَ
the clinging substance
muḍ'ghatan
مُضْغَةً
(into) an embryonic lump
fakhalaqnā
فَخَلَقْنَا
then We created
l-muḍ'ghata
ٱلْمُضْغَةَ
the embryonic lump
ʿiẓāman
عِظَٰمًا
(into) bones
fakasawnā
فَكَسَوْنَا
then We clothed
l-ʿiẓāma
ٱلْعِظَٰمَ
the bones
laḥman
لَحْمًا
(with) flesh;
anshanāhu
أَنشَأْنَٰهُ
We produce it
khalqan
خَلْقًا
(as) a creation
fatabāraka
فَتَبَارَكَ
So blessed is
aḥsanu
أَحْسَنُ
(the) Best
l-khāliqīna
ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ
(of) the Creators
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُوْنَ ۗ ( المؤمنون: ١٥ )
innakum
إِنَّكُم
indeed you
lamayyitūna
لَمَيِّتُونَ
surely (will) die
Then indeed, after that you are to die.
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ تُبْعَثُوْنَ ( المؤمنون: ١٦ )
innakum
إِنَّكُمْ
indeed you
l-qiyāmati
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
(of) the Resurrection
tub'ʿathūna
تُبْعَثُونَ
will be resurrected
((16 Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَاۤىِٕقَۖ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غٰفِلِيْنَ ( المؤمنون: ١٧ )
walaqad
وَلَقَدْ
And indeed
khalaqnā
خَلَقْنَا
We (have) created
fawqakum
فَوْقَكُمْ
above you
l-khalqi
ٱلْخَلْقِ
the creation
ghāfilīna
غَٰفِلِينَ
unaware
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware.
وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَاَسْكَنّٰهُ فِى الْاَرْضِۖ وَاِنَّا عَلٰى ذَهَابٍۢ بِهٖ لَقٰدِرُوْنَ ۚ ( المؤمنون: ١٨ )
wa-anzalnā
وَأَنزَلْنَا
And We send down
l-samāi
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
biqadarin
بِقَدَرٍ
in (due) measure
fa-askannāhu
فَأَسْكَنَّٰهُ
then We cause it to settle
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِۖ
the earth
wa-innā
وَإِنَّا
And indeed, We
dhahābin
ذَهَابٍۭ
taking it away
laqādirūna
لَقَٰدِرُونَ
surely (are) Able
And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.
فَاَنْشَأْنَا لَكُمْ بِهٖ جَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ نَّخِيْلٍ وَّاَعْنَابٍۘ لَكُمْ فِيْهَا فَوَاكِهُ كَثِيْرَةٌ وَّمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ۙ ( المؤمنون: ١٩ )
fa-anshanā
فَأَنشَأْنَا
Then We produced
nakhīlin
نَّخِيلٍ
of date-palms
wa-aʿnābin
وَأَعْنَٰبٍ
and grapevines
fawākihu
فَوَٰكِهُ
(are) fruits
kathīratun
كَثِيرَةٌ
abundant
wamin'hā
وَمِنْهَا
and from them
takulūna
تَأْكُلُونَ
you eat
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.
وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ طُوْرِ سَيْنَاۤءَ تَنْۢبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْاٰكِلِيْنَ ( المؤمنون: ٢٠ )
washajaratan
وَشَجَرَةً
And a tree
takhruju
تَخْرُجُ
(that) springs forth
saynāa
سَيْنَآءَ
Mount Sinai
tanbutu
تَنۢبُتُ
(which) produces
bil-duh'ni
بِٱلدُّهْنِ
oil
waṣib'ghin
وَصِبْغٍ
and a relish
lil'ākilīna
لِّلْءَاكِلِينَ
for those who eat
And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food [i.e., olives] for those who eat.
