وَأَنذِرْ
And warn
بِهِ
with it
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَخَافُونَ
fear
أَن
that
يُحْشَرُوٓا۟
they will be gathered
إِلَىٰ
to
رَبِّهِمْۙ
their Lord
لَيْسَ
not
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
of
دُونِهِۦ
other than Him
وَلِىٌّ
any protector
وَلَا
and not
شَفِيعٌ
any intercessor
لَّعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
يَتَّقُونَ
(become) righteous

Wa anzir bihil lazeena yakhaafoona ai yuhsharooo ilaa Rabbihim laisa lahum min doonihee waliyyunw wa laa shafee'ul la'allahum yattaqoon

And warn by it [i.e., the Quran] those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord – for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor – that they might become righteous.

Tafsir

وَلَا
And (do) not
تَطْرُدِ
send away
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَدْعُونَ
call
رَبَّهُم
their Lord
بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ
in the morning
وَٱلْعَشِىِّ
and the evening
يُرِيدُونَ
desiring
وَجْهَهُۥۖ
His Countenance
مَا
Not
عَلَيْكَ
(is) on you
مِنْ
of
حِسَابِهِم
their account
مِّن
[of]
شَىْءٍ
anything
وَمَا
and not
مِنْ
from
حِسَابِكَ
your account
عَلَيْهِم
on them
مِّن
[of]
شَىْءٍ
anything
فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ
So were you to send them away
فَتَكُونَ
then you would be
مِنَ
of
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the wrongdoers

Wa laa tatrudil lazeena yad'oona Rabbahum bilghadaati wal 'ashiyyi yureedoona Wajhahoo ma 'alaika min hisaabihim min shai'inw wa maa min hisaabika 'alaihim min shai'in fatatrudahum fatakoona minaz zaalimeen

And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His face [i.e., favor]. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

Tafsir

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
فَتَنَّا
We try
بَعْضَهُم
some of them
بِبَعْضٍ
with others
لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟
that they say
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
"Are these
مَنَّ
(whom has been) favored
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
عَلَيْهِم
[upon them]
مِّنۢ
from
بَيْنِنَآۗ
among us?"
أَلَيْسَ
is not
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِأَعْلَمَ
most knowing
بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
of those who are grateful?

Wa kazaalika fatannaa ba'dahum biba'dil liyaqoolooo ahaaa'ulaaa'i mannal laahu 'alaihim mim baininaa; alaisal laahu bi-a'lama bish shaakireen

And thus We have tried some of them through others that they [i.e., the disbelievers] might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?

Tafsir

وَإِذَا
And when
جَآءَكَ
come to you
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يُؤْمِنُونَ
believe
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
in Our Verses
فَقُلْ
then say
سَلَٰمٌ
"Peace
عَلَيْكُمْۖ
(be) upon you
كَتَبَ
(Has) Prescribed
رَبُّكُمْ
your Lord
عَلَىٰ
upon
نَفْسِهِ
Himself
ٱلرَّحْمَةَۖ
the Mercy
أَنَّهُۥ
that he
مَنْ
who
عَمِلَ
does
مِنكُمْ
among you
سُوٓءًۢا
evil
بِجَهَٰلَةٍ
in ignorance
ثُمَّ
then
تَابَ
repents
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِهِۦ
after it
وَأَصْلَحَ
and reforms
فَأَنَّهُۥ
then, indeed He
غَفُورٌ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
Most Merciful"

Wa izaa jaaa'akal lazeena yu'minoona bi Aayaatinaa faqul salaamun 'alaikum kataba Rabbukum 'alaa nafsihir rahmata annahoo man 'amila minkum sooo'am bijahaalatin summa taaba mim ba'dihee wa aslaha fa annahoo Ghafoorur Raheem

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself – indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

Tafsir

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
نُفَصِّلُ
We explain
ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
the Verses
وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ
so that becomes manifest
سَبِيلُ
(the) way
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
(of) the criminals

Wa kazaalika nufassilul Aayaati wa litastabeena sabeelul mujrimeen

And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.

Tafsir

قُلْ
Say
إِنِّى
"Indeed I
نُهِيتُ
[I] am forbidden
أَنْ
that
أَعْبُدَ
I worship
ٱلَّذِينَ
those whom
تَدْعُونَ
you call
مِن
from"
دُونِ
besides"
ٱللَّهِۚ
Allah"
قُل
Say
لَّآ
"Not
أَتَّبِعُ
I follow
أَهْوَآءَكُمْۙ
your (vain) desires
قَدْ
certainly
ضَلَلْتُ
I would go astray
إِذًا
then
وَمَآ
and not
أَنَا۠
I (would be)
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
the guided-ones"

Qul innee nuheetu an a'budal lazeena tad'oona min doonil laah; qul laaa attabi'u ahwaaa'akum qad dalaltu izanw wa maaa ana minal muhtadeen

Say, "Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you invoke besides Allah." Say, "I will not follow your desires, for I would then have gone astray, and I would not be of the [rightly] guided."

Tafsir

قُلْ
Say
إِنِّى
"Indeed I am
عَلَىٰ
on
بَيِّنَةٍ
clear proof
مِّن
from
رَّبِّى
my Lord
وَكَذَّبْتُم
while you deny
بِهِۦۚ
[with] it
مَا
Not
عِندِى
I have
مَا
what
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
you seek to hasten
بِهِۦٓۚ
of it
إِنِ
Not
ٱلْحُكْمُ
(is) the decision
إِلَّا
except
لِلَّهِۖ
for Allah
يَقُصُّ
He relates
ٱلْحَقَّۖ
the truth
وَهُوَ
and He
خَيْرُ
(is the) best
ٱلْفَٰصِلِينَ
(of) the Deciders"

Qul innee 'alaa baiyinatim mir Rabbee wa kazzabtum bih; maa 'indee maa tasta'jiloona bih; inil hukmu illaa lillaahi yaqussul haqqa wa Huwa khairul faasileen

Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders."

Tafsir

قُل
Say
لَّوْ
"If
أَنَّ
that
عِندِى
(were) with me
مَا
what
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
you seek to hasten
بِهِۦ
of it
لَقُضِىَ
surely would have been decided
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the matter
بَيْنِى
between me
وَبَيْنَكُمْۗ
and between you
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
أَعْلَمُ
(is) most knowing
بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
of the wrongdoers

Qul law anna 'indee maa tasta'jiloona bihee laqudiyal amru bainee wa bainakum; wallaahu a'lamu bizzaalimeen

Say, "If I had that for which you are impatient, the matter would have been decided between me and you, but Allah is most knowing of the wrongdoers."

Tafsir

وَعِندَهُۥ
And with Him
مَفَاتِحُ
(are the) keys
ٱلْغَيْبِ
(of) the unseen
لَا
no (one)
يَعْلَمُهَآ
knows them
إِلَّا
except
هُوَۚ
Him
وَيَعْلَمُ
And He knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْبَرِّ
the land
وَٱلْبَحْرِۚ
and in the sea
وَمَا
And not
تَسْقُطُ
falls
مِن
of
وَرَقَةٍ
any leaf
إِلَّا
but
يَعْلَمُهَا
He knows it
وَلَا
And not
حَبَّةٍ
a grain
فِى
in
ظُلُمَٰتِ
the darkness[es]
ٱلْأَرْضِ
(of) the earth
وَلَا
and not
رَطْبٍ
moist
وَلَا
and not
يَابِسٍ
dry
إِلَّا
but
فِى
(is) in
كِتَٰبٍ
a Record
مُّبِينٍ
Clear

Wa 'indahoo mafaatihul ghaibi laa ya'lamuhaaa illaa Hoo; wa ya'lamu maa fil barri walbahr; wa maa tasqutu minw waraqatin illaa ya'lamuhaa wa laa habbatin fee zulumaatil ardi wa laa ratbinw wa laa yaabisin illaa fee Kitaabim Mubeen

And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.

Tafsir

وَهُوَ
And He
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم
takes your (soul)
بِٱلَّيْلِ
by the night
وَيَعْلَمُ
and He knows
مَا
what
جَرَحْتُم
you committed
بِٱلنَّهَارِ
by the day
ثُمَّ
Then
يَبْعَثُكُمْ
He raises you up
فِيهِ
therein
لِيُقْضَىٰٓ
so that is fulfilled
أَجَلٌ
(the) term
مُّسَمًّىۖ
specified
ثُمَّ
Then
إِلَيْهِ
to Him
مَرْجِعُكُمْ
will be your return
ثُمَّ
then
يُنَبِّئُكُم
He will inform you
بِمَا
about what
كُنتُمْ
you used to
تَعْمَلُونَ
do

Wa Huwal lazee yatawaf faakum billaili wa ya'lamu maa jarahtum binnahaari summa yab'asukum fee liyuqdaaa ajalum musamman summa ilaihi marji'ukum summa yunabbi 'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein [i.e., by day] that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.
