So has been proved true
ʿalaynā
عَلَيْنَا
against us

قَوْلُ
(the) Word

رَبِّنَآۖ
(of) our Lord;
innā
إِنَّا
indeed we
ladhāiqūna
لَذَآئِقُونَ
(will) certainly taste

So the word [i.e., decree] of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].

فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ
So we led you astray;
innā

ٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment
mush'tarikūna

god
illā
إِلَّا
except
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ

wayaqūlūna
وَيَقُولُونَ
And they say
a-innā
أَئِنَّا
"Are we
latārikū
لَتَارِكُوٓا۟
to leave
ālihatinā
ءَالِهَتِنَا
our gods
lishāʿirin
لِشَاعِرٍ
for a poet
majnūnin
مَّجْنُونٍۭ
mad?"

Indeed you
ladhāiqū
لَذَآئِقُوا۟
(will) surely taste
l-ʿadhābi
ٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment
l-alīmi
ٱلْأَلِيمِ
painful

Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
