لَآ اُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِۙ ( القيامة: ١ )
I swear by the Day of Resurrection
وَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ ( القيامة: ٢ )
And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
اَيَحْسَبُ الْاِنْسَانُ اَلَّنْ نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهٗ ۗ ( القيامة: ٣ )
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
بَلٰى قَادِرِيْنَ عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهٗ ( القيامة: ٤ )
Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
بَلْ يُرِيْدُ الْاِنْسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ اَمَامَهٗۚ ( القيامة: ٥ )
But man desires to continue in sin.
يَسْـَٔلُ اَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيٰمَةِۗ ( القيامة: ٦ )
He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
فَاِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُۙ ( القيامة: ٧ )
So when vision is dazzled.
وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُۙ ( القيامة: ٨ )
And the moon darkens.
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُۙ ( القيامة: ٩ )
And the sun and the moon are joined,
يَقُوْلُ الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ اَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّۚ ( القيامة: ١٠ )
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
