يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O Messengers!
ٱلرُّسُلُ
O Messengers!
كُلُوا۟
Eat
مِنَ
of
ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ
the good things
وَٱعْمَلُوا۟
and do
صَٰلِحًاۖ
righteous (deeds)
إِنِّى
Indeed, I Am
بِمَا
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
you do
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knower

Yaaa aiyuhar Rusulu kuloo minat taiyibaati wa'maloo saalihan innee bimaa ta'maloona 'Aleem

[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Knowing.

Tafsir

وَإِنَّ
And indeed
هَٰذِهِۦٓ
this
أُمَّتُكُمْ
your religion
أُمَّةً
(is) religion
وَٰحِدَةً
one
وَأَنَا۠
And I Am
رَبُّكُمْ
your Lord
فَٱتَّقُونِ
so fear Me

Wa inna haaziheee ummatukum ummatanw waahidatanw wa Ana Rabbukum fattaqoon

And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me."

Tafsir

فَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟
But they cut off
أَمْرَهُم
their affair (of unity)
بَيْنَهُمْ
between them
زُبُرًاۖ
(into) sects
كُلُّ
each
حِزْبٍۭ
faction
بِمَا
in what
لَدَيْهِمْ
they have
فَرِحُونَ
rejoicing

Fataqatta'ooo amrahum bainahum zuburaa; kullu hizbim bimaa ladaihim farihoon

But they [i.e., the people] divided their religion among them into portions [i.e., sects] – each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.

Tafsir

فَذَرْهُمْ
So leave them
فِى
in
غَمْرَتِهِمْ
their confusion
حَتَّىٰ
until
حِينٍ
a time

Fazarhum fee ghamratihim hattaa heen

((54 So leave them in their confusion for a time.

Tafsir

أَيَحْسَبُونَ
Do they think
أَنَّمَا
that what
نُمِدُّهُم
We extend to them
بِهِۦ
[with it]
مِن
of
مَّالٍ
wealth
وَبَنِينَ
and children

A-yahsaboona annnamaa numiduhum bihee mimmaalinw wa baneen

Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children

Tafsir

نُسَارِعُ
We hasten
لَهُمْ
to them
فِى
in
ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِۚ
the good?
بَل
Nay
لَّا
not
يَشْعُرُونَ
they perceive

Nusaari'u lahum fil khairaat; bal laa yash'uroon

Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.

Tafsir

إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
هُم
[they]
مِّنْ
from
خَشْيَةِ
(the) fear
رَبِّهِم
(of) their Lord
مُّشْفِقُونَ
(are) cautious

Innal lazeena hum min khashyati Rabbihim mushfiqoon

Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord.

Tafsir

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those
هُم
[they]
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
in (the) Signs
رَبِّهِمْ
(of) their Lord
يُؤْمِنُونَ
believe

Wallazeena hum bi Aayaati Rabbihim yu'minoon

And they who believe in the signs of their Lord.

Tafsir

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those
هُم
[they]
بِرَبِّهِمْ
with their Lord
لَا
(do) not
يُشْرِكُونَ
associate partners

Wallazeena hum bi Rabbihim laa yushrikoon

And they who do not associate anything with their Lord.

Tafsir

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
يُؤْتُونَ
give
مَآ
what
ءَاتَوا۟
they give
وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ
while their hearts
وَجِلَةٌ
(are) fearful
أَنَّهُمْ
because they
إِلَىٰ
to
رَبِّهِمْ
their Lord
رَٰجِعُونَ
(will) return

Wallazeena yu'toona maaa aataw wa quloobuhum wajilatun annahum ilaa Rabbihim raaji'oon

And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord.

Tafsir
