Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 191

وَاقۡتُلُوۡهُمۡ حَيۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوۡهُمۡ وَاَخۡرِجُوۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ اَخۡرَجُوۡكُمۡ‌ وَالۡفِتۡنَةُ اَشَدُّ مِنَ الۡقَتۡلِۚ وَلَا تُقٰتِلُوۡهُمۡ عِنۡدَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَـرَامِ حَتّٰى يُقٰتِلُوۡكُمۡ فِيۡهِ‌ۚ فَاِنۡ قٰتَلُوۡكُمۡ فَاقۡتُلُوۡهُمۡؕ كَذٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏(البقرة :191)

وَٱقْتُلُوهُمْ
And kill them
حَيْثُ
wherever
ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ
you find them
وَأَخْرِجُوهُم
and drive them out
مِّنْ
from
حَيْثُ
wherever
أَخْرَجُوكُمْۚ
they drove you out
وَٱلْفِتْنَةُ
and [the] oppression
أَشَدُّ
(is) worse
مِنَ
than
ٱلْقَتْلِۚ
[the] killing
وَلَا
And (do) not
تُقَٰتِلُوهُمْ
fight them
عِندَ
near
ٱلْمَسْجِدِ
Al-Masjid
ٱلْحَرَامِ
Al-Haraam
حَتَّىٰ
until
يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ
they fight you
فِيهِۖ
in it
فَإِن
Then if
قَٰتَلُوكُمْ
they fight you
فَٱقْتُلُوهُمْۗ
then kill them
كَذَٰلِكَ
Such
جَزَآءُ
(is the) reward
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
(of) the disbelievers

Waoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waakhrijoohum min haythu akhrajookum waalfitnatu ashaddu mina alqatli wala tuqatiloohum 'inda almasjidi alharami hatta yuqatilookum feehi fain qatalookum faoqtuloohum kathalika jazao alkafireena

Sahih International:

And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 87

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ اَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَعۡنَةَ اللّٰهِ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ‏(آل عمران :87)

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those -
جَزَآؤُهُمْ
their recompense
أَنَّ
that
عَلَيْهِمْ
on them
لَعْنَةَ
(is the) curse
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
and the Angels
وَٱلنَّاسِ
and the people
أَجْمَعِينَ
all together

Olaika jazaohum anna 'alayhim la'nata Allahi waalmalaikati waalnnasi ajma'eena

Sahih International:

Those - their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together,

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 122

وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَنُدۡخِلُهُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًا‌ ؕ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقًّا‌ ؕ وَمَنۡ اَصۡدَقُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ قِيۡلًا(النساء :122)

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
[the] righteous deeds
سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ
We will admit them
جَنَّٰتٍ
(in) Gardens
تَجْرِى
flow
مِن
from
تَحْتِهَا
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
will abide
فِيهَآ
in it
أَبَدًاۖ
forever
وَعْدَ
A Promise
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
حَقًّاۚ
(in) truth
وَمَنْ
and who
أَصْدَقُ
(is) truer
مِنَ
than
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
قِيلًا
(in) statement?

Waallatheena amanoo wa'amiloo alssalihati sanudkhiluhum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan wa'da Allahi haqqan waman asdaqu mina Allahi qeelan

Sahih International:

But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allah in statement.

Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 123

لَـيۡسَ بِاَمَانِيِّكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَمَانِىِّ اَهۡلِ الۡـكِتٰبِ‌ؕ مَنۡ يَّعۡمَلۡ سُوۡٓءًا يُّجۡزَ بِهٖۙ وَ لَا يَجِدۡ لَهٗ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيًّا وَّلَا نَصِيۡرًا(النساء :123)

لَّيْسَ
Not
بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ
by your desire
وَلَآ
and not
أَمَانِىِّ
(by the) desire
أَهْلِ
(of the) People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِۗ
(of) the Book
مَن
Whoever
يَعْمَلْ
does
سُوٓءًا
evil
يُجْزَ
will be recompensed
بِهِۦ
for it
وَلَا
and not
يَجِدْ
he will find
لَهُۥ
for him
مِن
from
دُونِ
besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَلِيًّا
any protector
وَلَا
and not
نَصِيرًا
any helper

Laysa biamaniyyikum wala amaniyyi ahli alkitabi man ya'mal sooan yujza bihi wala yajid lahu min dooni Allahi waliyyan wala naseeran

Sahih International:

Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 93

وَمَنۡ يَّقۡتُلۡ مُؤۡمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهٗ جَهَـنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيۡهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِ وَلَعَنَهٗ وَاَعَدَّ لَهٗ عَذَابًا عَظِيۡمًا(النساء :93)

وَمَن
And whoever
يَقْتُلْ
kills
مُؤْمِنًا
a believer
مُّتَعَمِّدًا
intentionally
فَجَزَآؤُهُۥ
then his recompense
جَهَنَّمُ
(is) Hell
خَٰلِدًا
abiding forever
فِيهَا
in it
وَغَضِبَ
and will fall the wrath
ٱللَّهُ
(of) Allah
عَلَيْهِ
on him
وَلَعَنَهُۥ
and He (will) curse him
وَأَعَدَّ
and He has prepared
لَهُۥ
for him
عَذَابًا
a punishment
عَظِيمًا
great

Waman yaqtul muminan muta'ammidan fajazaohu jahannamu khalidan feeha waghadiba Allahu 'alayhi wala'anahu waa'adda lahu 'athaban 'atheeman

Sahih International:

But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.

Surah [5] Al-Ma'ida : 29

اِنِّىۡۤ اُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ تَبُوۡٓءَ بِاِثۡمِىۡ وَ اِثۡمِكَ فَتَكُوۡنَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ النَّارِ‌ۚ وَذٰ لِكَ جَزٰٓؤُا الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ‌(المائدة :29)

إِنِّىٓ
"Indeed I
أُرِيدُ
wish
أَن
that
تَبُوٓأَ
you be laden
بِإِثْمِى
with my sin
وَإِثْمِكَ
and your sin
فَتَكُونَ
so you will be
مِنْ
among
أَصْحَٰبِ
(the) companions
ٱلنَّارِۚ
(of) the Fire
وَذَٰلِكَ
and that
جَزَٰٓؤُا۟
(is the) recompense
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
(of) the wrong-doers"

Innee oreedu an tabooa biithmee waithmika fatakoona min ashabi alnnari wathalika jazao alththalimeena

Sahih International:

Indeed I want you to obtain [thereby] my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of wrongdoers."

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [6] Al-An'am : 138

وَقَالُوۡا هٰذِهٖۤ اَنۡعَامٌ وَّحَرۡثٌ حِجۡرٌ ‌ۖ لَّا يَطۡعَمُهَاۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَاَنۡعَامٌ حُرِّمَتۡ ظُهُوۡرُهَا وَاَنۡعَامٌ لَّا يَذۡكُرُوۡنَ اسۡمَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡهَا افۡتِرَآءً عَلَيۡهِ ‌ؕ سَيَجۡزِيۡهِمۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ(الأنعام :138)

وَقَالُوا۟
And they say
هَٰذِهِۦٓ
"These
أَنْعَٰمٌ
cattle
وَحَرْثٌ
and crops
حِجْرٌ
(are) forbidden
لَّا
no (one)
يَطْعَمُهَآ
can eat them
إِلَّا
except
مَن
whom
نَّشَآءُ
we will"
بِزَعْمِهِمْ
by their claim
وَأَنْعَٰمٌ
And cattle
حُرِّمَتْ
forbidden
ظُهُورُهَا
(are) their backs
وَأَنْعَٰمٌ
and cattle
لَّا
not
يَذْكُرُونَ
they mention
ٱسْمَ
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
عَلَيْهَا
on it
ٱفْتِرَآءً
(as) an invention
عَلَيْهِۚ
against Him
سَيَجْزِيهِم
He will recompense them
بِمَا
for what
كَانُوا۟
they used to
يَفْتَرُونَ
invent

Waqaloo hathihi an'amun waharthun hijrun la yat'amuha illa man nashao biza'mihim waan'amun hurrimat thuhooruha waan'amun la yathkuroona isma Allahi 'alayha iftiraan 'alayhi sayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona

Sahih International:

And they say, "These animals and crops are forbidden; no one may eat from them except whom we will," by their claim. And there are those [camels] whose backs are forbidden [by them] and those upon which the name of Allah is not mentioned - [all of this] an invention of untruth about Him. He will punish them for what they were inventing.

Surah [6] Al-An'am : 139

وَقَالُوۡا مَا فِىۡ بُطُوۡنِ هٰذِهِ الۡاَنۡعَامِ خَالِصَةٌ لِّذُكُوۡرِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلٰٓى اَزۡوَاجِنَا ‌ۚ وَاِنۡ يَّكُنۡ مَّيۡتَةً فَهُمۡ فِيۡهِ شُرَكَآءُ ‌ؕ سَيَجۡزِيۡهِمۡ وَصۡفَهُمۡ‌ ؕ اِنَّهٗ حَكِيۡمٌ عَلِيۡمٌ(الأنعام :139)

وَقَالُوا۟
And they say
مَا
"What
فِى
(is) in
بُطُونِ
(the) wombs
هَٰذِهِ
(of) these
ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ
cattle
خَالِصَةٌ
(is) exclusively
لِّذُكُورِنَا
for our males
وَمُحَرَّمٌ
and forbidden
عَلَىٰٓ
on
أَزْوَٰجِنَاۖ
our spouses
وَإِن
But if
يَكُن
is
مَّيْتَةً
(born) dead
فَهُمْ
then they (all)
فِيهِ
in it"
شُرَكَآءُۚ
(are) partners"
سَيَجْزِيهِمْ
He will recompense them
وَصْفَهُمْۚ
(for) their attribution
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed, He
حَكِيمٌ
(is) All-Wise
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knowing

Waqaloo ma fee butooni hathihi alan'ami khalisatun lithukoorina wamuharramun 'ala azwajina wain yakun maytatan fahum feehi shurakao sayajzeehim wasfahum innahu hakeemun 'aleemun

Sahih International:

And they say, "What is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females. But if it is [born] dead, then all of them have shares therein." He will punish them for their description. Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.

Surah [6] Al-An'am : 146

وَعَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا حَرَّمۡنَا كُلَّ ذِىۡ ظُفُرٍ‌‌ ۚ وَمِنَ الۡبَقَرِ وَالۡغَـنَمِ حَرَّمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ شُحُوۡمَهُمَاۤ اِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتۡ ظُهُوۡرُهُمَاۤ اَوِ الۡحَـوَايَاۤ اَوۡ مَا اخۡتَلَطَ بِعَظۡمٍ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ جَزَيۡنٰهُمۡ بِبَـغۡيِهِمۡ‌‌ ۖ وَاِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوۡنَ(الأنعام :146)

وَعَلَى
And to
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
هَادُوا۟
are Jews
حَرَّمْنَا
We forbade
كُلَّ
every
ذِى
(animal) with
ظُفُرٍۖ
claws
وَمِنَ
and of
ٱلْبَقَرِ
the cows
وَٱلْغَنَمِ
and the sheep
حَرَّمْنَا
We forbade
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
شُحُومَهُمَآ
their fat
إِلَّا
except
مَا
what
حَمَلَتْ
carried
ظُهُورُهُمَآ
their backs
أَوِ
or
ٱلْحَوَايَآ
the entrails
أَوْ
or
مَا
what
ٱخْتَلَطَ
(is) joined
بِعَظْمٍۚ
with the bone
ذَٰلِكَ
That
جَزَيْنَٰهُم
(is) their recompense
بِبَغْيِهِمْۖ
for their rebellion
وَإِنَّا
And indeed, We
لَصَٰدِقُونَ
[surely] are truthful

Wa'ala allatheena hadoo harramna kulla thee thufurin wamina albaqari waalghanami harramna 'alayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalat thuhooruhuma awi alhawaya aw ma ikhtalata bi'athmin thalika jazaynahum bibaghyihim wainna lasadiqoona

Sahih International:

And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their injustice. And indeed, We are truthful.

Surah [6] Al-An'am : 157

اَوۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا لَوۡ اَنَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا الۡـكِتٰبُ لَـكُنَّاۤ اَهۡدٰى مِنۡهُمۡ‌ ۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ بَيِّنَةٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ وَهُدًى وَرَحۡمَةٌ‌  ۚ فَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنۡ كَذَّبَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡهَا‌ ؕ سَنَجۡزِى الَّذِيۡنَ يَصۡدِفُوۡنَ عَنۡ اٰيٰتِنَا سُوۡٓءَ الۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَصۡدِفُوۡنَ(الأنعام :157)

أَوْ
Or
تَقُولُوا۟
you say
لَوْ
"If
أَنَّآ
[that]
أُنزِلَ
was revealed
عَلَيْنَا
to us
ٱلْكِتَٰبُ
the Book
لَكُنَّآ
surely we (would) have been
أَهْدَىٰ
better guided
مِنْهُمْۚ
than them
فَقَدْ
So verily
جَآءَكُم
has come to you
بَيِّنَةٌ
clear proofs
مِّن
from
رَّبِّكُمْ
your Lord
وَهُدًى
and a Guidance
وَرَحْمَةٌۚ
and a Mercy
فَمَنْ
Then who
أَظْلَمُ
(is) more unjust
مِمَّن
than (he) who
كَذَّبَ
denies
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
[with] (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَصَدَفَ
and turns away
عَنْهَاۗ
from them?
سَنَجْزِى
We will recompense
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
يَصْدِفُونَ
turn away
عَنْ
from
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our Signs
سُوٓءَ
(with) an evil
ٱلْعَذَابِ
punishment
بِمَا
because
كَانُوا۟
they used to
يَصْدِفُونَ
turn away

Aw taqooloo law anna onzila 'alayna alkitabu lakunna ahda minhum faqad jaakum bayyinatun min rabbikum wahudan warahmatun faman athlamu mimman kaththaba biayati Allahi wasadafa 'anha sanajzee allatheena yasdifoona 'an ayatina sooa al'athabi bima kanoo yasdifoona

Sahih International:

Or lest you say, "If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they." So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away.
