اِنَّا نَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰنَآ اَنْ كُنَّآ اَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ ࣖ ( الشعراء: ٥١ )
Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers."
۞ وَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى مُوْسٰٓى اَنْ اَسْرِ بِعِبَادِيْٓ اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَ ( الشعراء: ٥٢ )
And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued."
فَاَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى الْمَدَاۤىِٕنِ حٰشِرِيْنَ ۚ ( الشعراء: ٥٣ )
Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers.
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيْلُوْنَۙ ( الشعراء: ٥٤ )
[And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band,
وَاِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَاۤىِٕظُوْنَ ۙ ( الشعراء: ٥٥ )
And indeed, they are enraging us,
وَاِنَّا لَجَمِيْعٌ حٰذِرُوْنَ ۗ ( الشعراء: ٥٦ )
And indeed, we are a cautious society..."
فَاَخْرَجْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ ۙ ( الشعراء: ٥٧ )
So We removed them from gardens and springs
وَّكُنُوْزٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيْمٍ ۙ ( الشعراء: ٥٨ )
And treasures and honorable station.
كَذٰلِكَۚ وَاَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ۗ ( الشعراء: ٥٩ )
Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel.
فَاَتْبَعُوْهُمْ مُّشْرِقِيْنَ ( الشعراء: ٦٠ )
So they pursued them at sunrise.
