اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اشۡتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالۡهُدٰى فَمَا رَبِحَتۡ تِّجَارَتُهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُوۡا مُهۡتَدِيۡنَ(البقرة :16)
Olaika allatheena ishtarawoo alddalalata bialhuda fama rabihat tijaratuhum wama kanoo muhtadeena
Sahih International:
Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اشۡتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالۡهُدٰى وَالۡعَذَابَ بِالۡمَغۡفِرَةِ ۚ فَمَآ اَصۡبَرَهُمۡ عَلَى النَّارِ(البقرة :175)
Olaika allatheena ishtarawoo alddalalata bialhuda waal'athaba bialmaghfirati fama asbarahum 'ala alnnari
Sahih International:
Those are the ones who have exchanged guidance for error and forgiveness for punishment. How patient they are in pursuit of the Fire!
لَقَدۡ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ اِذۡ بَعَثَ فِيۡهِمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ يَتۡلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ وَيُزَكِّيۡهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الۡكِتٰبَ وَالۡحِكۡمَةَ ۚ وَاِنۡ كَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ لَفِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ(آل عمران :164)
Laqad manna Allahu 'ala almumineena ith ba'atha feehim rasoolan min anfusihim yatloo 'alayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayu'allimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin
Sahih International:
Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بَعۡدَ اِيۡمَانِهِمۡ ثُمَّ ازۡدَادُوۡا كُفۡرًا لَّنۡ تُقۡبَلَ تَوۡبَتُهُمۡۚ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الضَّآ لُّوۡنَ(آل عمران :90)
Inna allatheena kafaroo ba'da eemanihim thumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waolaika humu alddalloona
Sahih International:
Indeed, those who reject the message after their belief and then increase in disbelief - never will their [claimed] repentance be accepted, and they are the ones astray.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ اَنۡ يُّشۡرَكَ بِهٖ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُوۡنَ ذٰ لِكَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّشۡرِكۡ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا(النساء :116)
Inna Allaha la yaghfiru an yushraka bihi wayaghfiru ma doona thalika liman yashao waman yushrik biAllahi faqad dalla dalalan ba'eedan
Sahih International:
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَالۡكِتٰبِ الَّذِىۡ نَزَّلَ عَلٰى رَسُوۡلِهٖ وَالۡكِتٰبِ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓٮِٕكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا(النساء :136)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo aminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waalkitabi allathee nazzala 'ala rasoolihi waalkitabi allathee anzala min qablu waman yakfur biAllahi wamalaikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi waalyawmi alakhiri faqad dalla dalalan ba'eedan
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَ صَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا(النساء :167)
Inna allatheena kafaroo wasaddoo 'an sabeeli Allahi qad dalloo dalalan ba'eedan
Sahih International:
Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray.
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا نَصِيۡبًا مِّنَ الۡكِتٰبِ يَشۡتَرُوۡنَ الضَّلٰلَةَ وَيُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيۡلَ(النساء :44)
Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yashtaroona alddalalata wayureedoona an tadilloo alssabeela
Sahih International:
Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way?
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ يَزۡعُمُوۡنَ اَنَّهُمۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّتَحَاكَمُوۡۤا اِلَى الطَّاغُوۡتِ وَقَدۡ اُمِرُوۡۤا اَنۡ يَّكۡفُرُوۡا بِهٖ ؕ وَيُرِيۡدُ الشَّيۡـطٰنُ اَنۡ يُّضِلَّهُمۡ ضَلٰلًاۢ بَعِيۡدًا(النساء :60)
Alam tara ila allatheena yaz'umoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghooti waqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanu an yudillahum dalalan ba'eedan
Sahih International:
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.
وَاِذۡ قَالَ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمُ لِاَبِيۡهِ اٰزَرَ اَتَتَّخِذُ اَصۡنَامًا اٰلِهَةً ۚ اِنِّىۡۤ اَرٰٮكَ وَقَوۡمَكَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ(الأنعام :74)
Waith qala ibraheemu liabeehi azara atattakhithu asnaman alihatan innee araka waqawmaka fee dalalin mubeenin
Sahih International:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father Azar, "Do you take idols as deities? Indeed, I see you and your people to be in manifest error."
