يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ مِّنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّاَكْوَابٍ ۚوَفِيْهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيْهِ الْاَنْفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْاَعْيُنُ ۚوَاَنْتُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَۚ   ( الزخرف: ٧١ )

yuṭāfu
يُطَافُ
Will be circulated
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِم
for them
biṣiḥāfin
بِصِحَافٍ
plates
min
مِّن
of
dhahabin
ذَهَبٍ
gold
wa-akwābin
وَأَكْوَابٍۖ
and cups
wafīhā
وَفِيهَا
And therein
مَا
(is) what
tashtahīhi
تَشْتَهِيهِ
desires
l-anfusu
ٱلْأَنفُسُ
the souls
wataladhu
وَتَلَذُّ
and delights
l-aʿyunu
ٱلْأَعْيُنُۖ
the eyes
wa-antum
وَأَنتُمْ
and you
fīhā
فِيهَا
therein
khālidūna
خَٰلِدُونَ
will abide forever

Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.

Tafsir

وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِيْٓ اُوْرِثْتُمُوْهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ   ( الزخرف: ٧٢ )

watil'ka
وَتِلْكَ
And this
l-janatu
ٱلْجَنَّةُ
(is) the Paradise
allatī
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
ūrith'tumūhā
أُورِثْتُمُوهَا
you are made to inherit
bimā
بِمَا
for what
kuntum
كُنتُمْ
you used (to)
taʿmalūna
تَعْمَلُونَ
do

And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.

Tafsir

لَكُمْ فِيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيْرَةٌ مِّنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ  ( الزخرف: ٧٣ )

lakum
لَكُمْ
For you
fīhā
فِيهَا
therein
fākihatun
فَٰكِهَةٌ
(are) fruits
kathīratun
كَثِيرَةٌ
abundant
min'hā
مِّنْهَا
from it
takulūna
تَأْكُلُونَ
you will eat

For you therein is much fruit from which you will eat.

Tafsir

اِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ فِيْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدُوْنَۖ   ( الزخرف: ٧٤ )

inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-muj'rimīna
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
the criminals
فِى
(will be) in
ʿadhābi
عَذَابِ
(the) punishment
jahannama
جَهَنَّمَ
(of) Hell
khālidūna
خَٰلِدُونَ
abiding forever

Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally.

Tafsir

لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيْهِ مُبْلِسُوْنَ ۚ   ( الزخرف: ٧٥ )

لَا
Not
yufattaru
يُفَتَّرُ
will it subside
ʿanhum
عَنْهُمْ
for them
wahum
وَهُمْ
and they
fīhi
فِيهِ
in it
mub'lisūna
مُبْلِسُونَ
(will) despair

It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair.

Tafsir

وَمَا ظَلَمْنٰهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ  ( الزخرف: ٧٦ )

wamā
وَمَا
And not
ẓalamnāhum
ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ
We wronged them
walākin
وَلَٰكِن
but
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they were
humu
هُمُ
themselves
l-ẓālimīna
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers

And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers.

Tafsir

وَنَادَوْا يٰمٰلِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَۗ قَالَ اِنَّكُمْ مَّاكِثُوْنَ  ( الزخرف: ٧٧ )

wanādaw
وَنَادَوْا۟
And they will call
yāmāliku
يَٰمَٰلِكُ
"O Malik!
liyaqḍi
لِيَقْضِ
Let put an end
ʿalaynā
عَلَيْنَا
to us
rabbuka
رَبُّكَۖ
your Lord"
qāla
قَالَ
He (will) say
innakum
إِنَّكُم
"Indeed you
mākithūna
مَّٰكِثُونَ
(will) remain"

And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain."

Tafsir

لَقَدْ جِئْنٰكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كٰرِهُوْنَ  ( الزخرف: ٧٨ )

laqad
لَقَدْ
Certainly
ji'nākum
جِئْنَٰكُم
We have brought you
bil-ḥaqi
بِٱلْحَقِّ
the truth
walākinna
وَلَٰكِنَّ
but
aktharakum
أَكْثَرَكُمْ
most of you
lil'ḥaqqi
لِلْحَقِّ
to the truth
kārihūna
كَٰرِهُونَ
(are) averse

We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse.

Tafsir

اَمْ اَبْرَمُوْٓا اَمْرًا فَاِنَّا مُبْرِمُوْنَۚ  ( الزخرف: ٧٩ )

am
أَمْ
Or
abramū
أَبْرَمُوٓا۟
have they determined
amran
أَمْرًا
an affair?
fa-innā
فَإِنَّا
Then indeed We
mub'rimūna
مُبْرِمُونَ
(are) determined

Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan].

Tafsir

اَمْ يَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوٰىهُمْ ۗ بَلٰى وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُوْنَ   ( الزخرف: ٨٠ )

am
أَمْ
Or
yaḥsabūna
يَحْسَبُونَ
(do) they think
annā
أَنَّا
that We
لَا
(can) not
nasmaʿu
نَسْمَعُ
hear
sirrahum
سِرَّهُمْ
their secret(s)
wanajwāhum
وَنَجْوَىٰهُمۚ
and their private counsel(s)?
balā
بَلَىٰ
Nay
warusulunā
وَرُسُلُنَا
and Our Messengers
ladayhim
لَدَيْهِمْ
with them
yaktubūna
يَكْتُبُونَ
are recording

Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers [i.e., angels] are with them recording.
