Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 143

وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلۡنٰكُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّسَطًا لِّتَکُوۡنُوۡا شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَيَكُوۡنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ شَهِيۡدًا ؕ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا الۡقِبۡلَةَ الَّتِىۡ كُنۡتَ عَلَيۡهَآ اِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَنۡ يَّتَّبِعُ الرَّسُوۡلَ مِمَّنۡ يَّنۡقَلِبُ عَلٰى عَقِبَيۡهِ ‌ؕ وَاِنۡ كَانَتۡ لَكَبِيۡرَةً اِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُضِيْعَ اِيۡمَانَكُمۡ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ(البقرة :143)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
جَعَلْنَٰكُمْ
We made you
أُمَّةً
a community
وَسَطًا
(of the) middle way
لِّتَكُونُوا۟
so that you will be
شُهَدَآءَ
witnesses
عَلَى
over
ٱلنَّاسِ
the mankind
وَيَكُونَ
and will be
ٱلرَّسُولُ
the Messenger
عَلَيْكُمْ
on you
شَهِيدًاۗ
a witness
وَمَا
And not
جَعَلْنَا
We made
ٱلْقِبْلَةَ
the direction of prayer
ٱلَّتِى
which
كُنتَ
you were used to
عَلَيْهَآ
[on it]
إِلَّا
except
لِنَعْلَمَ
that We make evident
مَن
(he) who
يَتَّبِعُ
follows
ٱلرَّسُولَ
the Messenger
مِمَّن
from (he) who
يَنقَلِبُ
turns back
عَلَىٰ
on
عَقِبَيْهِۚ
his heels
وَإِن
And indeed
كَانَتْ
it was
لَكَبِيرَةً
certainly a great (test)
إِلَّا
except
عَلَى
for
ٱلَّذِينَ
those whom
هَدَى
guided
ٱللَّهُۗ
(by) Allah
وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
will
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
لِيُضِيعَ
let go waste
إِيمَٰنَكُمْۚ
your faith
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
بِٱلنَّاسِ
(is) to [the] mankind
لَرَءُوفٌ
Full of Kindness
رَّحِيمٌ
Most Merciful

Wakathalika ja'alnakum ommatan wasatan litakoonoo shuhadaa 'ala alnnasi wayakoona alrrasoolu 'alaykum shaheedan wama ja'alna alqiblata allatee kunta 'alayha illa lina'lama man yattabi'u alrrasoola mimman yanqalibu 'ala 'aqibayhi wain kanat lakabeeratan illa 'ala allatheena hada Allahu wama kana Allahu liyudee'a eemanakum inna Allaha bialnnasi laraoofun raheemun

Sahih International:

And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 204

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يُّعۡجِبُكَ قَوۡلُهٗ فِى الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا وَيُشۡهِدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى مَا فِىۡ قَلۡبِهٖۙ وَهُوَ اَلَدُّ الۡخِصَامِ(البقرة :204)

وَمِنَ
And of
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people
مَن
(is the one) who
يُعْجِبُكَ
pleases you
قَوْلُهُۥ
(with) his speech
فِى
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(of) the world
وَيُشْهِدُ
and he calls to witness
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
عَلَىٰ
on
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
قَلْبِهِۦ
his heart
وَهُوَ
and he
أَلَدُّ
(is) the most quarrelsome
ٱلْخِصَامِ
(of) opponents

Wamina alnnasi man yu'jibuka qawluhu fee alhayati alddunya wayushhidu Allaha 'ala ma fee qalbihi wahuwa aladdu alkhisami

Sahih International:

And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 23

وَاِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فِىۡ رَيۡبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلۡنَا عَلٰى عَبۡدِنَا فَاۡتُوۡا بِسُوۡرَةٍ مِّنۡ مِّثۡلِهٖ وَادۡعُوۡا شُهَدَآءَكُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ‏(البقرة :23)

وَإِن
And if
كُنتُمْ
you are
فِى
in
رَيْبٍ
doubt
مِّمَّا
about what
نَزَّلْنَا
We have revealed
عَلَىٰ
to
عَبْدِنَا
Our slave
فَأْتُوا۟
then produce
بِسُورَةٍ
a chapter
مِّن
[of]
مِّثْلِهِۦ
like it
وَٱدْعُوا۟
and call
شُهَدَآءَكُم
your witnesses
مِّن
from
دُونِ
other than
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
إِن
if
كُنتُمْ
you are
صَٰدِقِينَ
truthful

Wain kuntum fee raybin mimma nazzalna 'ala 'abdina fatoo bisooratin min mithlihi waod'oo shuhadaakum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena

Sahih International:

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful.

Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 282

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِذَا تَدَايَنۡتُمۡ بِدَيۡنٍ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَاكۡتُبُوۡهُ ‌ؕ وَلۡيَكۡتُب بَّيۡنَكُمۡ كَاتِبٌۢ بِالۡعَدۡلِ‌ ۚ وَلَا يَاۡبَ كَاتِبٌ اَنۡ يَّكۡتُبَ كَمَا عَلَّمَهُ اللّٰهُ‌ فَلۡيَكۡتُبۡ ‌ۚوَلۡيُمۡلِلِ الَّذِىۡ عَلَيۡهِ الۡحَـقُّ وَلۡيَتَّقِ اللّٰهَ رَبَّهٗ وَلَا يَبۡخَسۡ مِنۡهُ شَيۡـــًٔا ‌ؕ فَاِنۡ كَانَ الَّذِىۡ عَلَيۡهِ الۡحَـقُّ سَفِيۡهًا اَوۡ ضَعِيۡفًا اَوۡ لَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُ اَنۡ يُّمِلَّ هُوَ فَلۡيُمۡلِلۡ وَلِيُّهٗ بِالۡعَدۡلِ‌ؕ وَاسۡتَشۡهِدُوۡا شَهِيۡدَيۡنِ مِنۡ رِّجَالِكُمۡ‌ۚ فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ يَكُوۡنَا رَجُلَيۡنِ فَرَجُلٌ وَّامۡرَاَتٰنِ مِمَّنۡ تَرۡضَوۡنَ مِنَ الشُّهَدَآءِ اَنۡ تَضِلَّ اِحۡدٰٮهُمَا فَتُذَكِّرَ اِحۡدٰٮهُمَا الۡاُخۡرٰى‌ؕ وَ لَا يَاۡبَ الشُّهَدَآءُ اِذَا مَا دُعُوۡا ‌ؕ وَلَا تَسۡـــَٔمُوۡۤا اَنۡ تَكۡتُبُوۡهُ صَغِيۡرًا اَوۡ كَبِيۡرًا اِلٰٓى اَجَلِهٖ‌ؕ ذٰ لِكُمۡ اَقۡسَطُ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ وَاَقۡوَمُ لِلشَّهَادَةِ وَاَدۡنٰۤى اَلَّا تَرۡتَابُوۡٓا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَكُوۡنَ تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيۡرُوۡنَهَا بَيۡنَكُمۡ فَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ جُنَاحٌ اَلَّا تَكۡتُبُوۡهَا ‌ؕ وَاَشۡهِدُوۡۤا اِذَا تَبَايَعۡتُمۡ ۖ وَلَا يُضَآرَّ كَاتِبٌ وَّلَا شَهِيۡدٌ ؕ وَاِنۡ تَفۡعَلُوۡا فَاِنَّهٗ فُسُوۡقٌ ۢ بِكُمۡ ؕ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ‌ ؕ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ اللّٰهُ‌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ(البقرة :282)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
believe[d]!
إِذَا
When
تَدَايَنتُم
you contract with one another
بِدَيْنٍ
any debt
إِلَىٰٓ
for
أَجَلٍ
a term
مُّسَمًّى
fixed
فَٱكْتُبُوهُۚ
then write it
وَلْيَكْتُب
And let write
بَّيْنَكُمْ
between you
كَاتِبٌۢ
a scribe
بِٱلْعَدْلِۚ
in justice
وَلَا
And not
يَأْبَ
(should) refuse
كَاتِبٌ
a scribe
أَن
that
يَكْتُبَ
he writes
كَمَا
as
عَلَّمَهُ
(has) taught him
ٱللَّهُۚ
Allah
فَلْيَكْتُبْ
So let him write
وَلْيُمْلِلِ
and let dictate
ٱلَّذِى
the one
عَلَيْهِ
on whom
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the right
وَلْيَتَّقِ
and let him fear
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
رَبَّهُۥ
his Lord
وَلَا
and (let him) not
يَبْخَسْ
diminish
مِنْهُ
from it
شَيْـًٔاۚ
anything
فَإِن
Then if
كَانَ
is
ٱلَّذِى
the one
عَلَيْهِ
on him
ٱلْحَقُّ
(is) the right
سَفِيهًا
(of) limited understanding
أَوْ
or
ضَعِيفًا
weak
أَوْ
or
لَا
not
يَسْتَطِيعُ
capable
أَن
that
يُمِلَّ
(can) dictate
هُوَ
he
فَلْيُمْلِلْ
then let dictate
وَلِيُّهُۥ
his guardian
بِٱلْعَدْلِۚ
with justice
وَٱسْتَشْهِدُوا۟
And call for evidence
شَهِيدَيْنِ
two witnesses
مِن
among
رِّجَالِكُمْۖ
your men
فَإِن
And if
لَّمْ
not
يَكُونَا
there are
رَجُلَيْنِ
two men
فَرَجُلٌ
then one man
وَٱمْرَأَتَانِ
and two women
مِمَّن
of whom
تَرْضَوْنَ
you agree
مِنَ
of
ٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
[the] witnesses
أَن
(so) that (if)
تَضِلَّ
[she] errs
إِحْدَىٰهُمَا
one of the two
فَتُذَكِّرَ
then will remind
إِحْدَىٰهُمَا
one of the two
ٱلْأُخْرَىٰۚ
the other
وَلَا
And not
يَأْبَ
(should) refuse
ٱلشُّهَدَآءُ
the witnesses
إِذَا
when
مَا
that
دُعُوا۟ۚ
they are called
وَلَا
And not
تَسْـَٔمُوٓا۟
(be) weary
أَن
that
تَكْتُبُوهُ
you write it
صَغِيرًا
small
أَوْ
or
كَبِيرًا
large
إِلَىٰٓ
for
أَجَلِهِۦۚ
its term
ذَٰلِكُمْ
That
أَقْسَطُ
(is) more just
عِندَ
near
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَأَقْوَمُ
and more upright
لِلشَّهَٰدَةِ
for evidence
وَأَدْنَىٰٓ
and nearer
أَلَّا
that not
تَرْتَابُوٓا۟ۖ
you (have) doubt
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
تَكُونَ
be
تِجَٰرَةً
a transaction
حَاضِرَةً
present
تُدِيرُونَهَا
you carry out
بَيْنَكُمْ
among you
فَلَيْسَ
then not
عَلَيْكُمْ
on you
جُنَاحٌ
any sin
أَلَّا
that not
تَكْتُبُوهَاۗ
you write it
وَأَشْهِدُوٓا۟
And take witness
إِذَا
when
تَبَايَعْتُمْۚ
you make commercial transaction
وَلَا
And not
يُضَآرَّ
(should) be harmed
كَاتِبٌ
(the) scribe
وَلَا
and not
شَهِيدٌۚ
(the) witness
وَإِن
and if
تَفْعَلُوا۟
you do
فَإِنَّهُۥ
then indeed it
فُسُوقٌۢ
(is) sinful conduct
بِكُمْۗ
for you
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
and fear
ٱللَّهَۖ
Allah
وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ
And teaches
ٱللَّهُۗ
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
of every
شَىْءٍ
thing
عَلِيمٌ
(is) All-Knower

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo itha tadayantum bidaynin ila ajalin musamman faoktuboohu walyaktub baynakum katibun bial'adli wala yaba katibun an yaktuba kama 'allamahu Allahu falyaktub walyumlili allathee 'alayhi alhaqqu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahu wala yabkhas minhu shayan fain kana allathee 'alayhi alhaqqu safeehan aw da'eefan aw la yastatee'u an yumilla huwa falyumlil waliyyuhu bial'adli waistashhidoo shaheedayni min rijalikum fain lam yakoona rajulayni farajulun waimraatani mimman tardawna mina alshshuhadai an tadilla ihdahuma fatuthakkira ihdahuma alokhra wala yaba alshshuhadao itha ma du'oo wala tasamoo an taktuboohu sagheeran aw kabeeran ila ajalihi thalikum aqsatu 'inda Allahi waaqwamu lilshshahadati waadna alla tartaboo illa an takoona tijaratan hadiratan tudeeroonaha baynakum falaysa 'alaykum junahun alla taktubooha waashhidoo itha tabaya'tum wala yudarra katibun wala shaheedun wain taf'aloo fainnahu fusooqun bikum waittaqoo Allaha wayu'allimukumu Allahu waAllahu bikulli shayin 'aleemun

Sahih International:

O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write [it] between you in justice. Let no scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him. So let him write and let the one who has the obligation dictate. And let him fear Allah, his Lord, and not leave anything out of it. But if the one who has the obligation is of limited understanding or weak or unable to dictate himself, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And bring to witness two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her. And let not the witnesses refuse when they are called upon. And do not be [too] weary to write it, whether it is small or large, for its [specified] term. That is more just in the sight of Allah and stronger as evidence and more likely to prevent doubt between you, except when it is an immediate transaction which you conduct among yourselves. For [then] there is no blame upon you if you do not write it. And take witnesses when you conclude a contract. Let no scribe be harmed or any witness. For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear Allah . And Allah teaches you. And Allah is Knowing of all things.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 84

وَاِذۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِيۡثَاقَكُمۡ لَا تَسۡفِكُوۡنَ دِمَآءَكُمۡ وَلَا تُخۡرِجُوۡنَ اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ مِّنۡ دِيَارِكُمۡ ثُمَّ اَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ تَشۡهَدُوۡنَ(البقرة :84)

وَإِذْ
And when
أَخَذْنَا
We took
مِيثَٰقَكُمْ
your covenant
لَا
"Not
تَسْفِكُونَ
will you shed
دِمَآءَكُمْ
your blood
وَلَا
and not
تُخْرِجُونَ
(will) evict
أَنفُسَكُم
yourselves
مِّن
from
دِيَٰرِكُمْ
your homes"
ثُمَّ
then
أَقْرَرْتُمْ
you ratified
وَأَنتُمْ
while you
تَشْهَدُونَ
(were) witnessing

Waith akhathna meethaqakum la tasfikoona dimaakum wala tukhrijoona anfusakum min diyarikum thumma aqrartum waantum tashhadoona

Sahih International:

And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed each other's blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 18

شَهِدَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّهٗ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَاُولُوا الۡعِلۡمِ قَآٮِٕمًا ۢ بِالۡقِسۡطِ‌ؕ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُؕ(آل عمران :18)

شَهِدَ
Bears witness
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
أَنَّهُۥ
that [He]
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
and (so do) the Angels
وَأُو۟لُوا۟
and owners
ٱلْعِلْمِ
(of) [the] knowledge
قَآئِمًۢا
standing
بِٱلْقِسْطِۚ
in justice
لَآ
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
god
إِلَّا
except
هُوَ
Him
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise

Shahida Allahu annahu la ilaha illa huwa waalmalaikatu waoloo al'ilmi qaiman bialqisti la ilaha illa huwa al'azeezu alhakeemu

Sahih International:

Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 52

فَلَمَّاۤ اَحَسَّ عِيۡسٰى مِنۡهُمُ الۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ اَنۡصَارِىۡۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ‌ؕ قَالَ الۡحَـوَارِيُّوۡنَ نَحۡنُ اَنۡصَارُ اللّٰهِ‌ۚ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ‌ۚ وَاشۡهَدۡ بِاَنَّا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :52)

فَلَمَّآ
Then when
أَحَسَّ
perceived
عِيسَىٰ
Isa
مِنْهُمُ
from them
ٱلْكُفْرَ
[the] disbelief
قَالَ
he said
مَنْ
"Who
أَنصَارِىٓ
(will be) my helpers
إِلَى
to
ٱللَّهِۖ
Allah"
قَالَ
Said
ٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَ
the disciples
نَحْنُ
"We
أَنصَارُ
(will be the) helpers
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
ءَامَنَّا
we believe[d]
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
وَٱشْهَدْ
and bear witness
بِأَنَّا
that we
مُسْلِمُونَ
(are) Muslims

Falamma ahassa 'eesa minhumu alkufra qala man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi amanna biAllahi waishhad bianna muslimoona

Sahih International:

But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 53

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ وَاتَّبَعۡنَا الرَّسُوۡلَ فَاكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِيۡنَ‏(آل عمران :53)

رَبَّنَآ
Our Lord
ءَامَنَّا
we believe[d]
بِمَآ
in what
أَنزَلْتَ
You revealed
وَٱتَّبَعْنَا
and we follow[ed]
ٱلرَّسُولَ
the Messenger
فَٱكْتُبْنَا
then write us
مَعَ
among
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
the witnesses"

Rabbana amanna bima anzalta waittaba'na alrrasoola faoktubna ma'a alshshahideena

Sahih International:

Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 64

قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ تَعَالَوۡا اِلٰى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَآءٍۢ بَيۡنَـنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمۡ اَلَّا نَـعۡبُدَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ وَلَا نُشۡرِكَ بِهٖ شَيۡـــًٔا وَّلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُنَا بَعۡضًا اَرۡبَابًا مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ‌ؕ فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُوۡلُوا اشۡهَدُوۡا بِاَنَّا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :64)

قُلْ
Say
يَٰٓأَهْلَ
"O People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book!
تَعَالَوْا۟
Come
إِلَىٰ
to
كَلِمَةٍ
a word
سَوَآءٍۭ
equitable
بَيْنَنَا
between us
وَبَيْنَكُمْ
and between you
أَلَّا
that not
نَعْبُدَ
we worship
إِلَّا
except
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَلَا
and not
نُشْرِكَ
we associate partners
بِهِۦ
with Him
شَيْـًٔا
anything
وَلَا
and not
يَتَّخِذَ
take
بَعْضُنَا
some of us
بَعْضًا
(to) others
أَرْبَابًا
(as) lords
مِّن
from"
دُونِ
besides"
ٱللَّهِۚ
Allah"
فَإِن
Then if
تَوَلَّوْا۟
they turn away
فَقُولُوا۟
then say
ٱشْهَدُوا۟
"Bear witness
بِأَنَّا
that we
مُسْلِمُونَ
(are) Muslims"

Qul ya ahla alkitabi ta'alaw ila kalimatin sawain baynana wabaynakum alla na'buda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihi shayan wala yattakhitha ba'duna ba'dan arbaban min dooni Allahi fain tawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bianna muslimoona

Sahih International:

Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 70

يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَكۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ تَشۡهَدُوۡنَ(آل عمران :70)

يَٰٓأَهْلَ
O People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book!
لِمَ
Why do
تَكْفُرُونَ
you deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
[in] the Signs
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَأَنتُمْ
while you
تَشْهَدُونَ
bear witness?

Ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waantum tashhadoona

Sahih International:

O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while you witness [to their truth]?
