Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 214

اَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تَدۡخُلُوا الۡجَـنَّةَ وَ لَمَّا يَاۡتِكُمۡ مَّثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ خَلَوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡؕ مَسَّتۡهُمُ الۡبَاۡسَآءُ وَالضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلۡزِلُوۡا حَتّٰى يَقُوۡلَ الرَّسُوۡلُ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَعَهٗ مَتٰى نَصۡرُ اللّٰهِؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ نَصۡرَ اللّٰهِ قَرِيۡبٌ(البقرة :214)

أَمْ
Or
حَسِبْتُمْ
(do) you think
أَن
that
تَدْخُلُوا۟
you will enter
ٱلْجَنَّةَ
Paradise
وَلَمَّا
while not
يَأْتِكُم
(has) come to you
مَّثَلُ
like (came to)
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
خَلَوْا۟
passed away
مِن
from
قَبْلِكُمۖ
before you?
مَّسَّتْهُمُ
Touched them
ٱلْبَأْسَآءُ
[the] adversity
وَٱلضَّرَّآءُ
and [the] hardship
وَزُلْزِلُوا۟
and they were shaken
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَقُولَ
said
ٱلرَّسُولُ
the Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believed
مَعَهُۥ
with him
مَتَىٰ
"When
نَصْرُ
[will] (the) help
ٱللَّهِۗ
(of) Allah (come)
أَلَآ
Unquestionably
إِنَّ
[Indeed]
نَصْرَ
help
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
قَرِيبٌ
(is) near

Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannata walamma yatikum mathalu allatheena khalaw min qablikum massathumu albasao waalddarrao wazulziloo hatta yaqoola alrrasoolu waallatheena amanoo ma'ahu mata nasru Allahi ala inna nasra Allahi qareebun

Sahih International:

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 285

اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوۡلُ بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ رَّبِّهٖ وَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‌ؕ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓٮِٕكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ ۚ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡ رُّسُلِهٖ‌ ۚ وَقَالُوۡا سَمِعۡنَا وَاَطَعۡنَا‌ ۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ(البقرة :285)

ءَامَنَ
Believed
ٱلرَّسُولُ
the Messenger
بِمَآ
in what
أُنزِلَ
was revealed
إِلَيْهِ
to him
مِن
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
his Lord
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَۚ
and the believers
كُلٌّ
All
ءَامَنَ
believed
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ
and His Angels
وَكُتُبِهِۦ
and His Books
وَرُسُلِهِۦ
and His Messengers
لَا
"Not
نُفَرِّقُ
we make distinction
بَيْنَ
between
أَحَدٍ
any
مِّن
of
رُّسُلِهِۦۚ
His Messengers
وَقَالُوا۟
And they said
سَمِعْنَا
"We heard
وَأَطَعْنَاۖ
and we obeyed
غُفْرَانَكَ
(Grant) us Your forgiveness
رَبَّنَا
our Lord
وَإِلَيْكَ
and to You
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
(is) the return"

Amana alrrasoolu bima onzila ilayhi min rabbihi waalmuminoona kullun amana biAllahi wamalaikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulihi waqaloo sami'na waata'na ghufranaka rabbana wailayka almaseeru

Sahih International:

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 46

الَّذِيۡنَ يَظُنُّوۡنَ اَنَّهُمۡ مُّلٰقُوۡا رَبِّهِمۡ وَاَنَّهُمۡ اِلَيۡهِ رٰجِعُوۡنَ(البقرة :46)

ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يَظُنُّونَ
believe
أَنَّهُم
that they
مُّلَٰقُوا۟
will meet
رَبِّهِمْ
their Lord
وَأَنَّهُمْ
and that they
إِلَيْهِ
to Him
رَٰجِعُونَ
will return

Allatheena yathunnoona annahum mulaqoo rabbihim waannahum ilayhi raji'oona

Sahih International:

Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 97

قُلۡ مَنۡ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبۡرِيۡلَ فَاِنَّهٗ نَزَّلَهٗ عَلٰى قَلۡبِكَ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَهُدًى وَّبُشۡرٰى لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏(البقرة :97)

قُلْ
Say
مَن
"Whoever
كَانَ
is
عَدُوًّا
an enemy
لِّجِبْرِيلَ
to Jibreel
فَإِنَّهُۥ
then indeed he
نَزَّلَهُۥ
brought it down
عَلَىٰ
on
قَلْبِكَ
your heart
بِإِذْنِ
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
مُصَدِّقًا
confirming
لِّمَا
what
بَيْنَ
(was)
يَدَيْهِ
before it
وَهُدًى
and a guidance
وَبُشْرَىٰ
and glad tiding(s)
لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
for the believers"

Qul man kana 'aduwwan lijibreela fainnahu nazzalahu 'ala qalbika biithni Allahi musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi wahudan wabushra lilmumineena

Sahih International:

Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah, confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 121

وَاِذۡ غَدَوۡتَ مِنۡ اَهۡلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلۡقِتَالِ‌ؕ وَاللّٰهُ سَمِيۡعٌ عَلِيۡمٌۙ (آل عمران :121)

وَإِذْ
And when
غَدَوْتَ
you left early morning
مِنْ
from
أَهْلِكَ
your household
تُبَوِّئُ
to post
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the believers
مَقَٰعِدَ
(to take) positions
لِلْقِتَالِۗ
for the battle
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٌ
All-Knowing

Waith ghadawta min ahlika tubawwio almumineena maqa'ida lilqitali waAllahu samee'un 'aleemun

Sahih International:

And [remember] when you, [O Muhammad], left your family in the morning to post the believers at their stations for the battle [of Uhud] - and Allah is Hearing and Knowing -

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 122

اِذۡ هَمَّتۡ طَّآٮِٕفَتٰنِ مِنۡكُمۡ اَنۡ تَفۡشَلَا ۙ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا‌ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ(آل عمران :122)

إِذْ
When
هَمَّت
inclined
طَّآئِفَتَانِ
two parties
مِنكُمْ
among you
أَن
that
تَفْشَلَا
they lost heart
وَٱللَّهُ
but Allah
وَلِيُّهُمَاۗ
(was) their protector
وَعَلَى
And on
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ
let put (their) trust
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
the believers

Ith hammat taifatani minkum an tafshala waAllahu waliyyuhuma wa'ala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona

Sahih International:

When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 164

لَقَدۡ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ اِذۡ بَعَثَ فِيۡهِمۡ رَسُوۡلًا مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ يَتۡلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ وَيُزَكِّيۡهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الۡكِتٰبَ وَالۡحِكۡمَةَ  ۚ وَاِنۡ كَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ لَفِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ(آل عمران :164)

لَقَدْ
Certainly
مَنَّ
bestowed a Favor
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the believers
إِذْ
as
بَعَثَ
He raised
فِيهِمْ
among them
رَسُولًا
a Messenger
مِّنْ
from
أَنفُسِهِمْ
themselves
يَتْلُوا۟
reciting
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
His Verses
وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ
and purifying them
وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ
and teaching them
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
and the wisdom
وَإِن
although
كَانُوا۟
they were
مِن
from
قَبْلُ
before (that)
لَفِى
certainly in
ضَلَٰلٍ
(the) error
مُّبِينٍ
clear

Laqad manna Allahu 'ala almumineena ith ba'atha feehim rasoolan min anfusihim yatloo 'alayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehim wayu'allimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wain kanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin

Sahih International:

Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they had been before in manifest error.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 166

وَمَاۤ اَصَابَكُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡتَقَى الۡجَمۡعٰنِ فَبِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيَعۡلَمَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۙ‏(آل عمران :166)

وَمَآ
And what
أَصَٰبَكُمْ
struck you
يَوْمَ
(on the) day
ٱلْتَقَى
(when) met
ٱلْجَمْعَانِ
the two hosts
فَبِإِذْنِ
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَلِيَعْلَمَ
and that He (might) make evident
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the believers

Wama asabakum yawma iltaqa aljam'ani fabiithni Allahi waliya'lama almumineena

Sahih International:

And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 171

يَسۡتَبۡشِرُوۡنَ بِنِعۡمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضۡلٍۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُضِيۡعُ اَجۡرَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ(آل عمران :171)

يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
They receive good tidings
بِنِعْمَةٍ
of Favor
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَفَضْلٍ
and Bounty
وَأَنَّ
and that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُضِيعُ
let go waste
أَجْرَ
(the) reward
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
(of) the believers

Yastabshiroona bini'matin mina Allahi wafadlin waanna Allaha la yudee'u ajra almumineena

Sahih International:

They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 175

اِنَّمَا ذٰلِكُمُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ يُخَوِّفُ اَوۡلِيَآءَهٗ ۖ فَلَا تَخَافُوۡهُمۡ وَخَافُوۡنِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏(آل عمران :175)

إِنَّمَا
(It is) only
ذَٰلِكُمُ
that
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
the Shaitaan
يُخَوِّفُ
frightens (you)
أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥ
(of) his allies
فَلَا
So (do) not
تَخَافُوهُمْ
fear them
وَخَافُونِ
but fear Me
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
believers

Innama thalikumu alshshaytanu yukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooni in kuntum mumineena

Sahih International:

That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
